Welcome to the Country Nest, the ideal vacation home from which to enjoy all that Lancaster County, Pennsylvania has to offer, including nearby Bird-in-Hand, Strasburg, New Holland, Sight and Sound, the Outlets, Dutch Wonderland, Spooky Nook Sports, downtown Lancaster and more! Set in the idyllic town of Intercourse, this warm, spacious vacation rental has plenty of room for large groups and families. Find the freedom and space you need to make your get-away a great one.
You'll find all the comforts of home at the Country Nest! The fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking a meal for the whole family. Complimentary coffee and tea are provided. There is a sitting room right inside the door, as well as a large living room to fit the whole group, equipped with a large TV (Netflix included )Games and puzzles are provided for a relaxing night in. The front porch is a great place to relax with a cup of joe and watch horse-and-buggies trot by. The small, private backyard allows space for outside activities, fire pit and gas grill available for use.

We were all very happy with this house. The grill didn’t work, But we didn’t bother to call about it. The house was very clean and well maintained. We had a great time and would recommend this house

We enjoyed our stay at this well kept house. It was clean and spacious. We appreciated the 2 bedrooms on the first floor since 2 of us have difficulty with stairs. It was lovely to sit on the porch and watch Amish buggy’s, carts and bikes ride by. The host arranged a meal in an Amish home for us. The host family was so friendly and their kids were adorable! It is right in the heart of Amish country with many attractions nearby. The host was very responsive to any needs or concerns. There was a lot of truck traffic past the house that was loud when sitting on the porch but was muffled in the house. We would definitely recommend this lovely home in the Amish country.

The property is well taken care of. There are plenty of amenities, coffee and tea, fresh eggs, outdoor fire pit with chairs plus other things. The Wi-Fi worked well. There was plenty of parking for us and the host went above and beyond. for us, making special arrangements for a private dinner.

The house was clean and worked great for our group of 9. Plenty of room to spread out. The bedroom with the three twin beds was great for our family with kids. One of the beds in that room was very squeaky so put the smallest kid in that one. Once we did that, everyone slept better. Each room has blackout blinds which were awesome! Kept the rooms nice and dark in the morning. The upstairs walk in shower was awesome. So big! It is on a fairly busy road, but, we didn't notice the noise at all inside the house. It was very quiet inside. Overall, it was a nice play to stay.

Very pleasant stay with easy access to many attractions, shops, restaurants, etc…The “Nest” was very clean and comfortable for our family stay, and the kitchen well equipped. The ambience was calm and restful, and the decor integrated and inspiring. We would definitely return.

We had an issue with the smoke detectors but the host was prompt in taking care of the issue. The yard was not very well kept and needed mowing and weeding. Lots of traffic noise but overall the house was a good fit for the six of us. The location is excellent. We enjoyed our stay. The host was great to sell us eggs and even scheduled us a dinner with an Amish family. I would recommend this house

Host was very responsive. Location is great.House was well stocked. We had a wonderful time. Living room furniture was new and comfy, The only complaint would be that some of the towels and cloths were washed but still had stains.

This as our second year and planning the next at the Nest. We love this residence that is so well located for us. It is immaculate, welcoming, and offers so many amenities. The beds are very comfortable, and the large living room has great seating for all of us to be in at one time. There are shelves of games and activities for all ages. For those who like it, there is a fire pit outside with many chairs, and a huge barbecue grill. The kitchen has a flat top electric stove, dishwasher, and is fully equipped. We found a crockpot is available! The washer and dryer are commercial quality. Our 4 generation family looks forward to this annual weekend. The Nest's host is gracious, and has made this home a true comfort in every way. We give the Nest 5 stars for everything.

This property was perfect for our family which included grandparents, parents and teenage grandchildren! Having three bathrooms was a real bonus. The house is clean, cozy and has enough room for all of us. The host is over the top in responding to questions and the details she put into her home. Location is great and it is dog friendly!
