During the summer a burn ban may go into effect in all of Lewis County. During this time campfires, the use of charcoal briquettes, and any other form of burning may be prohibited.
Winters in Packwood may get very snowy. It is the guest's responsibility to be properly equipped for harsh winter driving conditions. We do our best to keep our cabins accessible, but winter traction tires and 4-wheel drive may still be required.
We had a great stay at this cabin. It had everything we needed, was cozy and comfortable, the beds were especially comfortable. We loved the town of Packwood. Great location for visiting Mt. Rainier National Park and we enjoyed the beer and food at the brewery. Weâd definitely come back for another stay!
We really enjoyed our stay over July 4 weekend with our four-year-old (she loved the fire pit and amazing movie collection) and another couple. Plenty of room for everyone, and the kitchen was well equipped to let us cook for ourselves. Very easy to get to Mt. Rainier NP, and being able to use the nearby pool was a nice perk.
Loved this place. Great kitchen, lots of space in the living area for everyone to be comfortable. Beds were great! Hot tub was perfect after our time in the snow. House is super smokey from the fireplace. If you have people who have allergies or breathing sensitivity this might not be the place for you.
Beautiful home along with flawless booking, check in and check out process. Perfect location for kids to go skiing. Peaceful, clean with everything you need. Canât wait to go back!
The cabin is not on a very scenic site but it is a nice cabin. It was clean except for the porch in front which wasnât very inviting. The two little table should be junked. The kitchen was well equipped and the hot tub is nice.
We really enjoyed our time at Moose Manor. It was very convenient to exploring Mt. Rainier NP. I liked that there were some restaurants not far away. I didn't realize the house was in a neighborhood so it was less secluded than I'd imagined but there were great points about its location, namely proximity to Rainier & food .We loved the hot tub! The owners were gracious about our reservation change. We had to shorten it by a day. We'd definitely stay there again!
Property was a great location for a family stay. Unfortunately the home smelled of campfire smoke, something may have been wrong with the fireplace. Was not able to confirm with the management company what it was caused by but they were unable to help with the smell. It was very obvious and we should have been told prior to check in.
This was a cute place and perfect for our group. It had everything we needed. Wish we had time to try out the pizza oven! Everything thing was super clean and rental had all you would need to cook a great meal. One thing that would make the stay better is to have some sort of air conditioning upstairs.
Fun place to stay and the appliances were amazing. They were too smart for me, but I loved the cabin, and it really made our stay wonderful especially the hot tub.
This has to be one of the best properties we have stayed at recently. The house was so well outfitted with quality kitchen utensils, comfortable beds and space for the family to spread out. We will definitely be looking to book another stay at this location based on our experience.
