This property was just great! We were in town for 5 days for a sporting event and it was just what we were looking for. The beds were great, the home was stocked with the basic items. The communication with the Smiths was awesome- and they were so accommodating! I had originally booked for a Friday to a Monday, but ended up changing plans to arrive Thursday- a quick email to them resulted in me being able to add on and book Thursday night ad well!
We stayed here for over a week. Very comfortable place. Nice decor and full of amenities- towels, full kitchen, full size washer and dryer, etc. Even entertainment.....a foosball coffee table! Easy parking in front or in parking space out the back door. Good location, close to Eagle Rd./ 84/ downtown Eagle or Boise. Easy communication with owner/manager/whomever is responsible for guests.
I don't know why I pay a cleaning fee, the dishwasher had dirty dishes in it, two of the cups in the cupboard had mold, the top of the stove was greasy, there were bugs, the furnace filter was so dirty that not much air came out, there was actually 1/16 of an inch dirt and whatever on it. The host should question the cleaning crew.
First and foremost, this condo is a great value - especially when compared to local hotel rates. Everything was clean, new, and 'as advertised.' It's a good place to eat, sleep, do laundry, and use as a home base to get out around Boise. However, it's not the place to plan on kicking back on a big comfy couch and watching a movie with your family after a long drive. The living room furniture is small, firm and utilitarian, and there are no TVs in the bedrooms. Other than that, about $40 in window treatments (i.e. blackout curtains) would vastly improve guests' sleep in the north-facing master bedroom.
The property was clean and modern. I didnât use the kitchen except the coffee maker, so I donât know about those facilities. The bedroom has outside light coming in through closed blinds, so if you need darkness to sleep, be prepared. The parking space keypad does not have enough light; you need a flashlight to see keypad. The manager is accommodating and responsive to requests.
Location was great, right between Meridian Village and Boise Town Square. The property was fine with a couple of exceptions.
We checked in at 3 pm and basically dropped everything and took off. When we returned at 10:30 pm my wife went to use a washcloth and found it had makeup on it. It looked like it was used and refolded. I opened up the bed to find the sheets were not clean. At that point we found another top sheet we could use that looked clean.
We started washing all of the bedding and towels. The bedsheet that was dirty and washcloth with makeup did come clean but several other towels were badly stained. Some had very large rust stains. When we made the bed we found that there was not a king size top sheet to be found. We found a couple spare queen size sheets, 1 extra queen size fitted sheet but no king size top sheet.
The bathtub was also dirty with hair stuck to the shower walls and tub. The toilets also had rings in them like they have not been cleaned.
We spent a lot of time doing laundry so we could enjoy our stay.
This is a nice place but the cleaning crew is not doing their job.
PROS: clean, nice, modern appliances, easy check in/out, and good communication. Nice kitchen.
CONS: This place advertises to sleep 8 but thatâs a huge stretch. Thereâs a king, queen and sleeper sofa. The sleeper sofa was too uncomfortable to use (VERY thin) and only a sheet provided for bedding. We ended up buying an air mattress to get through the stay.
Pillows for all beds were like pancakes. Even though the mattresses were decent, the pillows were so thin and useless it made for difficult sleeping.
Living room furniture is super uncomfortable. Very cheaply made.
Stairs are VERY STEEP. This was an issue for hauling suitcases and a baby up and down the stairs.
OVERALL: Good place if youâre in and out and donât plan to really rest and relax in the space. I just donât recommend for small children as those stairs are a challenge.
We were in town exploring the area for a move and decided on this cute place over a hotel stay. It was new, clean and convenient. Dedicated parking right outside and everything you need available. We only used one room but the bed was comfortable. I will say there was a bit of a musty smell upon entering, like maybe fresh air didnât go through there for a while. One recommendation would be maybe a small tv in one of the rooms and a full size mirror somewhere (swapping the one in the hallway perhaps.) But overall, it was a pleasant stay. We did find a home and will be recommending this for out of town visitors!
Area was very nice and convenient. Very clean, plenty of towels. FYI: expect to bring your own toilet paper, there was less than half a roll per bathroom. Mattress very comfortable, but sheets were cheap. Overall I would recommend.
This is a great place to stay when visiting the Boise area. Five stars all the way. Comfortable beds, very nice furniture, fully stocked kitchen, and centrally located. The manager was wonderful and picked up the phone every time we called. He allowed us to stay an extra day. We will definitely stay here again. Five stars.
Not only have I been to all 50 US states and over 40 countries, but I have lived in 6 different countries. Needless to say, I love to travel. My travels have ignited a passion in me to provide people with an amazing place to stay while they are living their adventures. I have a wonderful husband and 3 amazing kids and I love spending the winters in Arizona and summers in Boise, ID.
We bought this home and two others next door because we loved the location and the design & quality of these townhomes. They are perfectly laid out for short term stays due to the two master suites upstairs and the cozy entertaining space downstairs.
This home is unique because it has two master suites each with master baths upstairs and a first floor that is perfect for social time including a half guest bath. It's also located right in the center of the treasure valley making it a breeze to get pretty much anywhere.
