View of the water provided a wonderful setting for a family reunion. The house was well stocked and nicely furnished. Would stay there again.

Great Location

It is easy to get around Sarasota due to the super convenient location. A Publix is close by for your grocery needs. The home was clean and well organized. The hosts were kind and easily accessible. Definitely recommend!!!

This house is in a perfect location; on a quiet creek but close to main road/Tamiami with access to town and bridges to beaches.The layout of the house gave us lots of pri acy with space to spread out.

The location is good, the house was good and the owner quick to respond. When the grill didn't work it was replaced, the same day. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice place on the intra coastal waterway

Most well furnished place we have ever stayed. Very clean and spacious. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Enjoyed watching the fish leaping out of the water and watching boats go by. Also nice area to walk the neighborhood.

Riverview with 10 min to Beach

Great location in a nice neighborhood. loved the river view. the benefit was having all the amenities to cook out and enjoy a nice family meal and we had all the beach stuff...towels, chairs. Our host Jen was very responsive and great. good time overall

We pick this rental because it was close to all we wanted to do but in a very quite neighborhood. The house was very comfortable, clean and relaxing. Jennifer was very helpful and accommodating to a couple of our special needs. Would definitely like to return.

This was a very nice place to stay beside Phillipi Creek and on a quiet cul-de-sac. It was very close to everything in Sarasota and exceeded my expectations. The owner was next-door and would have been readily available if I needed anything, but I never did. It all went very well.

Looking for a wonderful, quiet 3 bedroom 2 bath home with an AWESOME screened in porch with a fabulous view? Then look no further! The host lives next door and was available for anything we might have needed (including a bit more coffee on our last morning :) Highly recommend, and hope to be back!

Fun in Sarasota

We spent a little over a week at this wonderful house. It had everything we needed and was beautifully appointed and spacious. We loved the screened porch. The setting was quiet and tranquil--and we loved hearing the fish jump in the creek. Jen and Kevin (owners) live next door and were always available if we had any questions. The location was pretty close to Siesta Key and the beach there. Downtown/historic area was a 15-minute drive. The grocery store was quite close. We expect we'll stay there again in the future!

Great house in Phillippi creek

The house is just as described- an “old Florida look” house that is very clean and comfortable and has a wonderful dock on Phillipi Creek. The house is very well equipped with everything you need. The neighborhood is very pleasant and conveniently located to everything. The landlord, Jennifer, lives next door and is very pleasant. She is attentive to your needs but never intrusive. You will enjoy your stay.

Life is so much better on the water

Husband and I spent two weeks relaxing at this special spot on the creek. If you are resort-averse, this is the spot for you. Watch the boats put-put by, enjoy the bald eagle pair hovering nearby, the fish jump, and a dolphin ! The use of a kayak and paddleboard were an extra bonus. The owner is next door and very hands-on when there are problems (washing machine needed to be replaced while there) and always quick and easy communication. Kitchen very well stocked -- appreciated all the coffee K-cups! -- and the bedrooms and living area are nicely furnished and up to date. The lanai needs a lot of updating (ripped screens and furniture that has passed its expiration date) but was a pleasant way to eat our meals. Enjoying cocktails on the deck on the creek was a daily treat.

Comfortable home away from home

This home was the perfect place to spend the month to get away from the cold! We were able to enjoy the Florida sun right at the house on the dock and watch the kayakers and boats go by or drive to Siesta Key Beach for a day in the sun and surf. It is close enough to Sarasota to also enjoy all of the things the city offers. We visited the Mote Aquarium, the Shelby Botanical Gardens, and enjoyed a sunset cruise of Sarasota Bay. Jen was an awesome host and tended to any needs we had. We had everything we needed just like home! We would definitely recommend her home and lived the neighborhood.

Philippe creek quiet house

This colorful house was just fine for the two of us. It is larger than it looks in the photos. I wish there was a renter’s guide to the house, listing the network, Wi-Fi password, cool restaurants in the area. There were several booklets and magazines to look thru to find some areas to explore. I wish the tap in both bathrooms had hot water to wash up in the morning. Great response from the owner when the washing machine & microwave went on the fritz. Great view while sitting by the creek. Didn’t think we could get the kayak in the water without getting really wet, so rented kayaks on Myakka Creek.
