Fantastic!

This property was great! The house was clean, spacious and well appointed for our week long stay. Our family of 6 had plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable! We will rent this house again when we return to Atlantic Beach!

Great little getaway spot

It was a great little get away spot. Close to the beach, quiet and worth the cost. Would rent this location again and again. Bed was very comfortable and the setup is perfect for a family.

The property is BEAUTIFUL. The owners are immediately responsive to any questions along the way. The unit is well stocked. No detail has been overlooked. Proximate to waterfront dining and nightlife when the day is done!

Perfect Atlantic Beach Getaway

I feel lucky to have found this rental in Atlantic beach. It was perfect! Right across the street from the beach. It was super clean, beautifully decorated and furnished. We enjoyed all meals out in the porch with views of the ocean, walked across the street to the beach every day, and the beds were comfortable!

Awesome property

The place was so beautiful and in a great area! The private beach access was amazing. The space was very clean and well maintained. The full kitchen was perfect for making meals and having small children. There was a gate on the porch before the main stairs which was also great for small children. The view was beautiful. Check in and out was easy and seamless. The managers were very friendly and responsive with questions and comments. Highly recommend this place for a family getaway or vacation with friends. It accommodates people in all phases of life to come together for a fun beach trip!

An absolute delight

The pictures do not do it justice-- it is even cuter in person. We had a absolutely fantastic time. The house is really clean and in a wonderful location. Had a little hiccup when we first got there and the owners were incredibly gracious and accommodating-- fixed the issue super quickly. Would love to stay there again!

Excellent location & Beautiful Beach!

One of the cleanest VRBO’s we’ve stayed at! Very beautifully decorated, fully stocked and comfortable. It was a fantastic girls weekend filled with beach time and walks to the pier for lunch & dinner. Thank you for sharing your beach house!

Easter Weekend

Condo is very nice and very comfortable. Equipped with everything we needed for long weekend (or longer, for that matter). Very accessible to restaurants, easy and short drive to Havelock / MCAS Cherry Point. Great beach access. Definitely visit again!

Time away with my 3 best friends

The property is great. It’s steps away from the beach. The view is good. Close proximity to lots of choices for dining out. Or if you choose to cook the house is stocked with everything you will need. Although the weather didn’t cooperate we still had a good relaxing couple of days. I will book again.

If you are thinking about staying here, do it!

I am not sure where to begin. Everything about this stay for our long weekend was truly the best. From the fully stocked home to the access to the beach to the views - truly amazing! The owners are extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire stay. We will definitely be booking again!

Amazing weekend with lots of room and great location

I give this property all fives. We loved the spaciousness, the proximity to the beach, the kitchen that was fully loaded with everything we needed to cook, and the comfortableness of the beds and pillows. The only caveat would be the very noisy renters one level above us that kept us awake at all hours.

Home away from Home

This property was perfect! The kitchen is stocked better than my kitchen at home!! The furniture and linens were cozy and comfortable! Enough seating for our large family! The deck was perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks! The proximity to the beach was perfect! We LOVE this place and will definitely rent again! The owners were responsive and easy to work with! Perfect getaway to the perfect place!

Well Appointed Condo Steps from the Beach

We had such a fabulous stay at Half Shelled! The proximity to the beach was amazing. Truly only steps away from the boardwalk and the outdoor shower and wash off station was perfect for cleaning off after a day on the beach. Our group had several little ones and it was great to be able to easily pop back up for lunch and naps as needed. We enjoyed the full moon over the ocean every night from the deck! The condo is well decorated without being ‘too beachy’ and the kitchen was very well stocked! The owners were also very prompt with responding to two questions we had during our stay. Can’t say enough great things about Half Shelled!!!

Parents Anniversary

This place is decorated beautiful. Lots of space for the six of us. Beautiful View. Two minor things which one cannot be fixed is the parking. Larger vehicles SUV tight squeeze. Only other thing I would fix would be Queen Size bed not very comfortable as you roll right in middle. Other than that everything was perfect. We will definitely be back.

First Family trip to Atlantic Beach

We arrived Sunday evening to begin our week together. First impression was awesome. Arrival instructions were on point! Beautiful coastal decor, well appointed and equipped. The attention to detail was obvious. We had mostly sunny beach days. Great location with easy access to the beach. Very short walk. We ate out each night - dined in Morehead and Beaufort. Easy access to each location. Grabbed pizza on our last night to go. Would gladly stay here again. Perfect for our family of six adults. Loved sitting on the porch with coffee or wine watching the ocean each day.
