This newly constructed home is right on the Rio Grande river with gorgeous views in every direction. It is just steps to the riverâs edge from the back deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee or an evening barbeque. This new home is beautiful and comfortable and perfect for the four teenage children we traveled with. We enjoyed the constant sound of the river and the gorgeous view.
My 9-year old grandson asked me to take him fishing. The headwaters of the Rio Grande is my favorite in all the world. I donât handle sleeping at high altitude these days, but the 8,000 feet of South Fork was okay. The cabin is nice. Itâs still new and is comfortable. We went up high to fish but my son also found places nearby South Fork. Great vacation. My grandson caught his first trout and with a big, beautiful smile he held it up.You will like this place.
We really enjoyed staying at Grande Bluff. The house was beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed and very clean. The shuffleboard table was a big hit we had a tournament and played over 50 games. We will definitely be back.
I donât use the term amazing very often, but this house far exceeded expectations. Wonder location right on the river. South Fork is a small hidden gem. We are already taking about our next Colorado trip.
Beautiful and well appointed home. Great location to store and highway to Wolf Creek.
The home was just beautiful and had everything we needed! Very well supplied with cooking utensils and pots/pans. The only negative is we went to use the gas grill and there was no gas. We filled the tank.
We had a great stay at this cabin in South Fork. Plenty of room for 2 families. The views are amazing and the game room upstairs was a huge hit with the kids. House is clean and new. About a 25 minute drive to Wolf Creek and much preferred this side of the mountain to avoid the longer/steeper drive to Wolf Creek from Pagosa Springs. The town is small but has everything you need within minutes of the house. Would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful home. It was perfect for our family. Kitchen had everything you need, lots of games for the young ones, and beautiful setting resting just above the Rio Grande. We were in South Fork for 3 days skiing. Just about a 20-25 minute drive to the ski area. Beautiful drive over. Would do this again!
This property has an AWESOME view and game room with a pool table and shuffle board. The amenities were great where we didnt have to pack things such as blender, Keurig, griddle and had everything we needed for cooking. Property manager was super responsive with concerns we had. It was a 30 minute drive to the wolf creek pass summit where we parked for snowmobiling as the trails lower were closed. We made a day trip to pagosa springs which was 1hr. It's a very nice property and we enjoyed our stay.
Dust/hair on floors, no toilet paper/paper towels !!
Beautiful house and great location, hadnât been rented in 3wks prior to our stay. Was dusty and hair on staircase and corners of the main room. No toilet paper or paper towels, manager brought some!đąđą

This year we celebrated our 55 anniversary and with this in mind we wanted to share our love for Colorado with our family members. Grande Bluff in South Fork, CO was the perfect place to do this. The setting of the house on the Rio Grande River in itself provided entertainment for all ages including fishing, skipping rocks, and playing in the river. The inside of the house was beautifully constructed and decorated. The house furnished everything one needed to cook and serve large meals, and provided a game room upstairs with fun activities for the family including games, puzzles, a pool table, shuffle board table, TV games, that the young ones enjoyed, etc. A huge TV in the gathering room downstairs provided a great place for all the family to enjoy watching our TN Vols win the NCAA Baseball Championship. The bedrooms and baths were very nice with everything supplied that one would need. Beau Meyer, the realtor and his assistant Kathy were always checking on us and immediately assisting with any problems (which were only a couple) and making sure we had everything we needed. With 19 family members joining us at different times through the month, this was the perfect spot with easy access to outdoor activities and overnight trips to other areas. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.
Grande Bluff was a beautiful place to warm up after multiple days of skiing with my family. Weâve stayed at other properties in South Fork for our frequent ski trips over the years and this one has been our favorite by far. It was always warm with an easy to use fireplace. There was everything you could possibly need in the kitchen to make whatever meal you could dream of! We played pool every night and my nephews and niece enjoyed the x-box and shuffleboard. The host was extremely accommodating - we broke a glass and the host was very understanding of accidents little kids cause. All the beds were comfortable and there was always hot water for all 9 of us. Another plus for me personally was the really really short checkout list. We always try to leave a place clean, but itâs really annoying when hosts have a laundry list of to do items before checkout. This place had the very bare minimum- strip your beds, turn thermostat down, and empty trash. Easy peasy! This is now the only place for us for future ski trips in South Fork! Canât wait to come back!
Amazing location, well supplied kitchen, clean home, comfortable beds, lots of space, right on river, nice large deck. Only negative is regarding trash policy. You have to haul your trash to the management company office which is ridiculous.
Perfect place to bring families. Enough space for more than one family! Plenty of activities for the kids inside and outside the house. No powder for the shuffleboard table.. called to let the manager know and he was there within an hour to get us more. Great communication and service. Highly recommend.
