Newly remodeled &100 steps to the beach access. Very clean and close to beach.

This is the Downstairs unit and has been completely remodeled with all new furnishings. Third row from the beach with beach access at the end of the street. Very short walk to the beach access, only 100 steps. This is the downstairs unit of a duplex so there are no steps to access this unit. The duplex has completely separate central heat/air conditioning for each floor.
3 bedrooms (king bed, queen bed and two twin beds) with 1.5 baths plus a large outdoor enclosed shower. Washer and dryer are inside. WiFi and 55” smart tv. Very quiet street with views of the ocean and the sound.

Great Spot!

This was our first time renting the property in the 5 years we have been vacationing here and we were not disappointed. Good location, quiet, and spacious. We hope to stay again during our trips in the future!

Perfect Spot

Property was perfect! Everything was clean, lots of towels, loved having washer and dryer in the unit. Neighborhood very quiet, easy to get to and close to other activities in either direction. Definitely will be returning!

Down by the Beach

Overall it was a Very Good experience. House was very clean an was at a good location to the beach. The only negative I would say is that the grill was old a rusty a couldn’t be used, which my wife an I was looking forward to doing. But besides that we would book again

Low Tide— Best beach house

We loved our stay at “Low Tide” on Emerald Isle!! It was so close to the beach and was such a relaxing place for a summer getaway!! Our cousins stayed down the street at Ocean Reef and it was so convenient to be within walking distance! Check in was easy and the house was just as described! We are grateful for our time and look forward to a return trip in the future! Thank you!!!

Excellent stay

Very close to the beach, rental was well stocked and clean. The only issue we ran into was a towel rack in one of the bathrooms was secured to the back of a hollow door which couldn't hold the weight of a towel. Otherwise everything was great.

Clean, but the beds

Clean, but the beds are terrible. You can't even move without them squeaking loudly. Luckily, the mattress was comfy. Pretty clean, but the washer was moldy and one of the comforters had an odor. Instructions need updated or the blue recycling can needs replaced or spray paint one blue. Great location and very close to the beach.

Low Tide Relaxation

We stayed for a week and we were impressed with all the amenities includes to make our stay easier. The homes has three bedrooms, one King bed, one queen bed, and two twin beds. Open kitchen and living room area with nice patio and deck with umbrella and table. Charcoal grill for use with all utensils. Very nice home with room for 6.

Great quiet family spot

Everything was just as listed and pictured. Super short walk to and from the beach. I liked that it didn’t have too many decorations or things for my kids to mess up! But it had everything we needed! Except maybe a pair of kitchen scissors. Not a big deal though. Thanks!

Nice location. Inside was nice

The updates inside the home was great. Back deck area need redone. Deck has some trip hazzards. Boards old and faded. Need alarm clock in bedrooms or maybe another tv in one of the bedrooms. Other wise great location in middle of the island.

Great location

Overall we were very happy with this property. The distance to the beach was great and allowed us to come and go as much as we wanted. Pros: Great Location for spending full days on the beach Arrived in town 2 hours early and was able to check in early-much appreciated! Everything was in great working order Plenty of paper products and detergent for our stay Comfortable beds and pillows Broom/vacuum/etc available for tidying throughout the week Beach Chairs provided Beautiful home that is very modern Cons: No beach towels (not a deal breaker but typically the places we have rented supplied them so a quick trip to the store was necessary) No ice maker Overall the place was very clean but there was some trash under two of the beds that the cleaning company missed Having to pick up/return a zipper pouch that literally only has check out instructions was a little out of the way. I don’t know why that information couldn’t have just been emailed to us. We would definitely consider renting again if we are ever back in the area.

Not super comfortable, but close to beach.

For a beach trip, it’s as close to the ocean as you can get without being oceanfront. Beach was very nice, not packed so I could walk from our rental to the beach canopy in about 5 minutes. I’ll stick to positives and negatives: Positives: - Very close to beach - The outdoor shower is great after a day in the sand. - Far from the popular beach access, very sparsely populated. - The space is huge! The full kitchen is nice to have. - There aren’t a ton of decorations for my kids to misplace. Negatives: - The beds are the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. My family all felt the same, none of us rested well. - The king bed is super close to the wall and I found it difficult to get in and out of. - The beds are extra loud, need some WD40 - No TVs in the bedrooms (I am used to it at night) - There’s no way to blackout the windows, and the morning sun is very bright on the king bedroom. - The check in process is annoying. I understand that someone runs the property, but they could have easily texted us the door code and checkout instructions. Instead we had to go out of our way to pick up and drop off a packet with code and instructions. - The beach access close to the rental has stairs on both sides, not ramps. It’s a struggle with a beach cart. Overall, I probably would not stay here again based on comfort factor only.

Great stay

The stay was great, and if we had an issue they had someone there within 24 hours of the call. The one thing I hope they correct is the deck the picnic table is on, either gets leveled with the concrete and the little board walk from the drive or they mark it out. Overall the rest of the trip and cleanliness of the house and property was fantastic. The family and I would definitely hope to rent here again!!!!

Great Spot for Family Trip

Our family of five (3 kids under 8) enjoyed staying at the property for a little under a week. The house was very clean, well-maintained, and just as short walk to to the beach from the house. With young kids, we had frequent trips back and forth from the beach most days. It was nice that the walk was easy and short. We also appreciated that the house was well stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, linens, and towels. The outdoor shower was a nice addition, as was sitting on the porch in the evenings. Low-key neighborhood with relatively low traffic. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Great find!

Wonderful property. Everything you need is here. It’s super short walk to the public beach access. Outdoor shower with hot and cold was great. Washing and dryer inside unit was so convenient and worked well. Super clean. Bring your own pillows if you’re a picky pillow user, otherwise it has everything you need! There is a full length mirror now (reference previous review). Would come back here next year!
