Nous sommes des "locaux" de l'île d'Émeraude et sommes heureux de vous accueillir dans notre maison confortable en bord de mer, Sea Star. Que vous recherchiez une escapade romantique, un lieu de rassemblement amusant pour la famille, ou une destination de pêche passionnante, Sea Star est l'endroit idéal! Ce charmant cottage marin comporte deux côtés séparés pour les familles individuelles, ou vous pouvez réserver les deux côtés pour de grands groupes!

Chaque côté peut accueillir 9 invités dans 4 chambres spacieuses, et chaque côté a deux salles de bain complètes, une en bas et une en haut. Les cuisines ont toutes les commodités, et l'ameublement pittoresque et les couleurs breezy apportent l'essence de la mer à l'intérieur! Chaque côté dispose de 3 grandes télévisions à écran plat avec DirecTV et WiFi.

En plus d'être à quelques pas du surf, Sea Star offre des vues de millions de dollars des deux niveaux de pont. Vous passerez des heures à vous détendre sur les vastes ponts ci-dessous, et certaines chambres à l'étage offrent des portes coulissantes en verre avec une terrasse, de grandes chaises d'observation et des vues inégalées sur le sable scintillant et l'eau cristalline. Sea Star

Our stay on Emerald Island was wonderful. There are lots of fun things to do in addition to walking the beautiful beach. Our stay was made perfect by staying at Sea Star. The home is very clean and the location on the beach is perfect. The host was very very helpful. We absolutely highly recommended staying at the Sea Star! We will go back!cclean

Fun at Seastar W

We really enjoyed our stay. Actually it was the perfect getaway.It was furnished with everything we needed. I liked the "pay it forward basket" touch. We met Max, who was a delightful host. He replaced the older coffee maker with a new one. He was so kind and hospitable. The duplex was very clean. Definitely a place I would stay again and recommend.

Amazing Great Views

Had a wonderful time staying here! I love Emerald Isle and this property was great! The owners were wonderful to work with and you can't beat being on the Oceanfront with the great views and relaxing atmosphere.

Relaxing!

Very clean and perfect for our needs; nice and comfortable. Right on the beach, quiet, uncrowded. Good food and shopping only 2-3 miles away. Hosts were very communicative. Check in was super easy.

Great experience

We enjoyed our time at Sea Star - everything was as described and in good shape. Location on the beach is terrific, and it's convenient to various island amenities. Beds were comfortable and the 'in case you forgot something" basket in the downstairs bathroom was a nice touch. The owner was very communicative, responded quickly to questions, and provided guests with helpful information about the area.

Exactly what we needed!

Sea Star is a wonderful properity, with excellent hosts. The location is really incredible, on the beach in 1 minute, great views at night with the multiple decks. It's exactly as described in the posting, very clean, everything you need is there. The owners do a wonderful job communicating before during, and after your stay. We look forward to returning.

Wonderful Beach House for multi-generation family stay!

The beach house was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. The storage room under the house full of beach toys, chairs, games, and an umbrella was a pleasant surprise. We made good use of the laundry room and grill. Overall a lovely property in a very quiet stretch of EI but still only a quick drive to the restaurants and stores.

Wonderful Week!

We had a wonderful trip and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Helen was very communicative (even offering ideas for activities) and very responsive to any concerns. Rented bikes and rode all over the island, which was our favorite! Also enjoyed the gorgeous views from both balconies. A great get-away!

Great Front Row Location

We had a great time at Sea Star. Helen was a very gracious host who provided excellent instructions, helpful suggestions, and timely communication. The location is perfect with lots of good views from the main floor and bedrooms. We also enjoyed the shower and hose off area half way up the boardwalk from the beach where we could hose ourselves and equipment off to keep sand out of the house. The house is cozy and well appointed. A great option for a relaxing beach vacation.

Great house

Seating in the living room was a challenge for nine adults, but we were able to bring a few chairs from the bedrooms to make it work. If possible, a great low-cost upgrade would be an ice maker in the freezer. Overall, very happy with the stay.

We had a wonderful time staying in Sea Star West! We loved the private beach access, the kids loved the beach toys that were available to them, the fresh water hose and shower were especially helpful! Beach chairs were also available. We enjoyed meeting the owner and his family who happened to be on the East side! The arrival treat was very welcome and appreciated on the hot day! When we arrived late in the day there were no linens or towels and were to be provided since we were renting for 7 days. We called the owner and with that one phone call we had delivery of them within 20 minutes. The outside deck spaces were ample and seating was plentiful. Unit was well decorated.

Perfect Place

Sea Star West was fabulous! Right on the beach and away from crowds. No need to hurry out to put up your umbrella in the morning - there is plenty of room for all. And how convenient it was to go back and forth for lunch. No sand in our sandwiches. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need including a drip coffee maker. If you don't want to cook indoors there's a charcoal grill outside. The washer and dryer are shared and had a schedule of use which was very helpful. Only less then perfect aspect was the bedding. If you like firm beds you are all set it not bring a mattress topper. And probably your own sheets since the ones fitted ones the linen service provides are really hard to get on. What really makes this place is the property owner. She responded quickly with lots of great information to every question and made our trip extra special!!! We can't wait to go back!

Summary: If you're looking for a fantastic location in a cozy place, this is it! If you're looking for a super modern place, this isn't it. Low down: We weren't as concerned about a remodeled kitchen or other more updated amenities and appreciated the beach cottage decor and the laid-back vibe of the place. The upper deck and deck chairs are fantastic for hanging out and watching the show on the ocean. We loved seeing dolphins swimming by and watching all the various sea birds and pelicans making their rounds. A couple tips: If you're traveling from a long way away (flying), be sure to order linen service in advance. You'll need sheets, towels and kitchen linens. Our fault for not noticing this in the contract, but hadn't seen this before on a vacation rental. I know, rookies. We had a great time though and Helen quickly helped us sort out the linens SNAFU, so no harm done! You may also need a trip to the store for soap, TP, paper towels, kitchen trash bags and other household items.

Wonderful Property

This property is clean, spacious, and is steps from the beach. We loved being able to just run back inside to grab something we forgot or step back onto the deck to eat some lunch. The beach itself is not crowded and lovely. The location is convenient - close to any stores you would want. The laundry schedule makes sharing the laundry with the other unit extremely easy. There are tons of toys and chairs and anything you could want in the storage area. There is ample seating and good wifi so when it rained one afternoon, we all had a good time hanging out in the living room. The hosts are extremely kind and gracious. They are very responsive to any questions you might have. There is a checkout list that makes wrapping up your trip a breeze. The only reason we may not return to this property is that the beds were way too firm for anyone in our group. No one slept very well because we are not used to that level of firmness. We ended up putting blankets underneath us to cushion it a bit but it wasn't enough. It seems as though most people in the reviews don't have that problem so if firm beds don't bother you - definitely book this property, it is wonderful!

Wonderful first visit to EI!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Emerald Isle and that was largely due to this great property. The house is very clean and well maintained. The oceanfront location is fantastic! Max was great at answering questions and keeping us informed so that all logistics went smoothly. And Max thanks so much for special treat.

Amazing views

I treated my high school aged kids and a few friends to a spring break trip and this was the perfect home! Open living, dining and kitchen gave us plenty of space to move about and still be together. Waking up to unobstructed views of the beach and water was a nice perk. Home was clean and comfortable.

Easter Sunrise was awesome!

We enjoyed our stay over spring break! The grandsons loved visiting the Aquarium and even a couple quick dips in the chilly Atlantic. Easter sunrise was breathtaking from the deck. Well appointed vacation home!
