This adorable and historic home is nestled in between some of the most beautiful mountain ranges. The Gila River runs right next to the home, so itâs an exceptional waterfront getaway. You have the entire home to yourself as well as a large fenced yard and wood burning BBQ grill.
Lovely home, beautiful views, great to just sit on the porch and listen to the River, close to eautiful hiking trails, spacious and comfortable accommodations, fully stocked kitchen for cooking.
We always wanted to spend several days "out in the middle of a desert" to experience its unique climate and ruggedness as well as be able to view incredible night sky at night. The "Cowboy House" checked all our boxes. It is far enough off the main highway to be isolated but close enough to be able to access essentials if needed within a 20 minute drive. It is close to the Arizona Trail which offers great hiking. The property manager was easy to communicate with and the robust Direct TV and Starlink Internet connectivity provided great connectivity. The Gila River running within a few hundred feet of the Cowboy House provided a quite place by a babbling waterway that was quite surprising for being in a desert location. We would happily return if we again seek a quite, isolated desert location with great accommodations.
We enjoyed our time at the Cowboy House. Everything we needed to ensure the comforts of life was provided. There is a cabinet with coffeemaker, blender and dishware and cups that supplied everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We recharged by hiking, playing Scrabble tournaments and watching movies on TV. We are looking forward to future stays at this property.
The cowboy house was cute and very clean. We had all we needed for our several day visit. Saw a few horses and cattle during our stay. The drive from the small town of Kearny to the house was a beautiful drive, miles and miles of Saguaro cactus.
Quiet and Charming Cabin on a cattle farm....who knew???
This place is A-mazing!!! My husband and I needed a little getaway. We couldn't have chosen a better place for some peace, privacy and tranquility. The cabin itself is charming. Very comfortable king size bed, large bathroom, great living space. The outside was even better. The nature is plentiful. Never saw a single person. We saw horses, pigs, cattle, cows and a sweet cat that spent a lot of time with us. This place is situated about three miles into the woods and IS on a cattle farm. The animals were not disturbing. We had the most relaxing time and WILL be back as soon as we can.
Thank you for providing such lovely accommodations.
