La propriété Westwind a fait l'objet d'une rénovation de 4 M $ pour commencer la saison de ski 18/19! Vue imprenable sur le mont Vail depuis votre balcon au quatrième étage de cet emplacement de Lionshead Village. Westwind bénéficie d'un nouveau bain à remous et d'une piscine ouverts toute l'année. Il est situé au cœur du village de Lionshead. Vous pouvez facilement marcher jusqu'à l'école de ski de Vail, la télécabine Eagle-Bahn, le télésiège 8, les restaurants, les bars et les magasins de vente au détail de Lionshead et de Vail. Vail Ski Trip

Location is fabulous. Just a short walk to the gondola. However, the unit is extremely small and outdated. It could use a few upgrades in the kitchen (pans) and bedrooms (bedding/pillows). Master shower did not work properly and portable fan was broken.

No A/C and I-70 noise when windows open

The condo is great, but if you stay during the summer it is warm. You can see and hear the interstate from the master bedroom. We had to buy earplugs, and have a fan running to sleep.

Reviewer Comments: Great Location and I guess we were paying for that- place needs major updates. For the price, the place needs an over hall- like hasn't been updated since the 90s. Clean and basic- thank god we were skiing the entire time.

This condo has recently been updated with new TV's, Kitchen pots & pans, utensils, dishes, small appliances and all necessary cooking equipment. My current guests are very happy with their experience.

Great 4 night stay in Vail

It started rough since our flights from the northeast were cancelled yet after much persistence, alternative flights were found and we, 2 couples, arrived into Vail at 2:30am local time but all the instructions that vail mgmt left us were accurate and we found our keys and entered into a clean very comfortable 2 bedroom condo. We jumped into bed so we could start the morning fresh. Next morning we awoke to bright sunshine and a cold 17 degrees. The view to the mountain was amazing. After a quick cup of coffee which thankfully was left for us we began readying for our first day of skiing. The walk from the condo to the gondola and ticket center was a quick 5 minutes away ( in ski boots a bit longer). Everything we needed was a quick walk away and if you chose to take the bus there was always one coming your way. The front desk and team couldn’t have been more helpful with questions and providing comfort. At checkout they held our bags til we departed for our flight out of DIA. We couldn’t have had a nicer 3 ski days and accommodations. We’ll be back.

This unit in particular was good but can use some repairs and updates. The living area is spacious with a nice balcony view. The rooms have plenty of storage. The bathrooms are definitely small and outdated. The bed covers in both rooms are worn and outdated. The blinds for the balcony were held by tape and fell and the ones in the rooms were all bent. I would definitely stay at Westwind again but not in this unit.

Cozy & close but with management & faciltiy issues

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the unit was fine. It's quite close to the mountain and that's key. However, for ~$1,000 a night there were def issues. Highlights and lowlights:- I received check in instructions from the front desk. Nothing in there about the ski lockers or how to access them. I had to go out of my way to figure it out. Overall, no real instructions on the unit - what works, what doesn't, etc. I'm used to having a binder with such details. - Heat was not working in half the unit when we arrived. Had to contact front desk to get it fixed. It was, however, promptly addressed. At first, temporarily, then the next day, for good.- Come home from skiing on day, and one of the employees is sitting on our couch. No warning, no call, no nothing. Turns out Charter had to fix the cable in the master bedroom. Not something we requested or needed at all. Then the employee left while the Charter guys continued to try to fix it. While we were trying to use the hot tub, shower, and change to go out. Very strange and very unprofessional. Not sure why they dont fix it while guests are not staying in the unit.- The unit is top floor. It was hot in the master bedroom, even with the heat off. Can't really open the windows as the building is right in front of I-70. It's loud (not bad with the windows open). - The hot tub in the building is warm, not hot. Maybe 99*/100* at best. The towels they give you are hand towels. Good luck keeping warm between the hot tub and your room. The unit was clean, comfortable enough, but the above all made it less than ideal. It also def needs a refresh but that doesn't really bother me. Anyway, I'd likely stay somewhere else next time.
