Blue Vieira Cottage Inc.

Blue Vieira Cottage is located in the heart of Fennville, Michigan. The cottage is surrounded by a canopy of stunning 100+ year old trees and situated next to the original 1894 farm house. The quaint cottage is decorated in vintage country coastal decor from local area antique stores, retail shops, and the artists own creations.
The property has 425 large blueberry bushes dating back to the early 1900's where the berries are plump, sweet and delicious. Explore the blueberry field and or take an art class at the owner/artist's private art studio, a converted large red polebarn where he creates works for galleries, businesses, private collectors and teaches individual classes.
The property is perfectly situated 1/2 mile from Lake Michigan, and is comfortably situated between Saugautck/Douglas or South Haven by a 10 - 12 minute drive in either direction.
5 Star amenities include a welcome basket of treats from local Michigan businesses, home-style bedding with wonderful 1200 count bamboo sheets & Pottery Barn duvets (wash/dried sanitized after each stay), soaps and shampoos from C.O. Bigelow, Voss water and a brand new bathroom completed Dec.2021.The various pricing option packages include Blueberry picking in season ( July 15th - August 10th ), a 3 hour non-traditional "From the heART " painting class including all supplies option, or just a Standard stay.

Great little getaway

This place is lovely. The cottage is immaculate and the gift basket and other extras made it feel like a luxury hotel. Wonderful.

Lovely & Comfortable

Beautiful quiet location with great access to all the area has to offer. The cottage is filled with art, yet there was plenty of room for our things. We loved the outdoor seating area and easy to use fire pit. Armando is a great host! We hope to visit again.

A perfect oasis

The Blue Vieira Cottage is the perfect getaway! It's close to so many wonderful Michigan attractions while still being secluded and away from all the hustle and bustle. It has the added bonus of it's owner, Armando, who lives on the property. He has truly made a special place! We can't wait to go back.

Another perfect stay!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this property is and how kind, warm and welcoming Armando is! We have stayed here twice now for a girls’ trip and can’t wait to return next year. We enjoyed our stay. The little cottage is outfitted to take care of your basic comforts. We used the outdoor patio every night. It was great to be out in the country. Armando was very welcoming.

Blue Vieira Cottage is charming! Spotless, beautifully decorated, full of thoughtful details and host Armando Pedroso's wonderful art work. Quiet, lovely setting, and near Saugatuck=Douglas-Fennville attractions. Armando is the perfect host. We loved every moment of our stay, and will return soon and often.

Gorgeous Weekend at the Blue Vieira Cottage

We love this spot and will come back, either in the Fall to sit around the fire on the patio or next year for Blueberry season. The stars at night were lovely. You're close to Douglas/Saugatuck and can enjoy all they have to offer but return 'home' for quiet evenings and mornings (with a lovely rooster next door). The goodies were much appreciated! On the next visit, we want to tour the artist studio :)

Beautiful location and accommodations

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Armando’s Blue Viera Cottage! Cozy, clean, beautifully decorated, well equipped kitchen, super comfy bed and shower, easy access to Saugatuck and Douglas and beautiful surroundings. Thoroughly egggffnjoyed our conversations with Armando and discussing his inspirational lifestyle and art. Can’t say enough positive things about this sweet little cottage, the property owner and the surrounding landscapes. Come experience it yourself!

This cottage was a great find. The location is perfect, its located between South Hacen and Saugatuck just of the Blue Star Hwy. It's decorated with beautiful artwork and comfortable furniture. Armando is the perfect host and made us feel welcome. His art studio is filled with interesting artwork. The landscaping on the property is stunning. We loved staying at Blue Vieira Cottage, and we are looking forward to going back.

Cozy retreat

Can't say enough about this property. Cute, well-maintained and well-provisioned cottage. Located in rural, quiet Michigan. The décor is beautiful with all of the art work having been done by the proprietor, Armando. We didn't want to leave. We were fortunate enough to spend some time with Armando. He is a very pleasant gentleman and he made our visit more enjoyable.

This was an absolute amazing experience. I was lucky enough to stay for almost 3 weeks. Armando was so welcoming and the cottage exceeded my expectations. The entire property was so beautiful. The cottage was impeccably clean and the touches of fresh flowers, goodies, coffee and delicious cookies as I walked in. The bed and linens so fresh and comfortable.I had some friends over for dinner. We grilled and dined by the fire pit so relaxing My friend said it was like a movie set. I have stayed at many places in Saugatuck/Douglas and this by far has been my favorite. Thank you Armando. I am already planning my stay for next summer. Also, you have to visit his Art Studio. His work is wonderful!!!

A real gem!

This quaint cottage nestled on the beautifully landscaped grounds of Blue Vieira Estate was perfectly located to South Haven and other southwestern cities in Michigan. The tasteful lake decor including several of the host’s paintings, fresh cut hydrangeas in every room, retro colored appliances, comfortable bed and nice shower was so welcoming. Armando, the host, spoiled us with a basket of treats, an assortment of cold drinks, coffee/tea bar and homemade blueberry scones. Thank you Armando for opening your cottage to us. We enjoyed viewing your art studio and your work. When we get back to Michigan we hope to rent from you again!

Hidden gem!

My husband and I stayed at Blue Vieira Cottage for our wedding anniversary weekend getaway. We were planning a relaxing weekend near the lake and this cottage ended up being the most perfect spot for that. From our initial booking, communication with the host, Armando, was excellent. He goes above and beyond to make sure that his guests are comfortable and taken care of. He gave us many recommendations for restaurants, places to visit, etc in the area and they all turned out to be fantastic recommendations. At his advice, we dined at Salt of the Earth and Pennyroyal Cafe; both had excellent, fresh food! The cottage had all amenities needed to be comfortable. The cherry on top was the serene location with blueberry picking just steps out the door. We very much enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to plan a trip to come back! Thanks so much for your attention to detail and kindness, Armando!

Exceptional Stay!

The experience from the moment you pull in to this quaint and charming location exceeded our expectations. The home was very artistically decorated, fine arts, fresh cookies, fresh flowers in every room, the finite details from rolled towels to mints on the pillows. Armando was well known in town by local shop owners, we felt like we were staying with a celebrity artist!

Fantastic little gettaway!

The cottage was absolutely charming, clean, beautifully decorated, in good condition and functional. The host was warm and welcoming and eager to make our stay pleasurable. We enjoyed the fact that the cottage sits just outside Fennville, so it was quiet but within easy distance of all the little towns in the area such as Saugatuk and Douglas and all the lovely beaches and trails. Above and Beyond Excellent!

Our stay at the Blue Vieira Cottage was just what we needed. We were greeted by Armando, who created an amazing experience from start to finish. Every small detail thought out and a host with an amazing heart. We took in every suggestion and enjoyed every single bit of the entire experience. Magic in Fennville at Blue Vieira Cottage

Loved every minute of our stay at Blue Vieira Cottage! Armando is an incredible host and his warm hospitality, creativity, and attentiveness to ensure every moment of our stay was memorable was greatly appreciated. From beverages and tasty snacks at our arrival, to the tour of his studio and blueberry farm, it was a truly magical experience. Fennville and Saugatuck was also a nice surprise- complete with great restaurants and nice galleries. Wish we had stayed longer, but now we have a reason to return and we can’t wait.

Everything I hoped it would be

This place is amazing. So beautiful and relaxing. We just loved how immaculate the property is. Armando has really thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable. The patio was our favorite. Beautiful trees, comfy chairs, firepit. My husband and I sat out every night and talked for hours while stargazing. We even had a sweet little kitten come get pets from us one night. Absolutely delightful! We can't wait to go back!
