Escape the pace of everyday life and discover Prana Cottage—a beautifully renovated two-bedroom miner's cottage nestled within the peaceful surrounds of our family-owned Prana Estate in the Hunter Valley.

Surrounded by native bushland, tranquil dams and rolling paddocks, this is a place where nature gently invites you to slow down. Wake to the enchanting chorus of bellbirds, watch kangaroos grazing nearby, and keep an eye out for wombats, wallabies, soaring wedge-tailed eagles and more than 80 species of native birds that call the estate home.

Whether you're planning a romantic getaway, a family holiday, a weekend with friends or simply searching for somewhere peaceful to recharge, Prana Cottage offers the perfect balance of boutique country comfort, privacy and connection with nature.

Inside, you'll find a warm and inviting cottage designed for every season. Sleeping up to four guests comfortably (with the option of accommodating up to six using the sofa bed), the cottage features two comfortable bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy living area with a wood-burning fireplace, reverse-cycle air conditioning throughout, and a modern bathroom complete with underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. Outside, enjoy the outdoor kitchen, pizza oven, firepit and peaceful spaces to relax beneath the stars.

Prana Cottage is also a haven for artists, photographers, birdwatchers, writers and anyone seeking inspiration. Bring your sketchbook, camera or journal—or simply a willingness to slow down—and let the ever-changing light, abundant wildlife and peaceful landscape awaken your creativity.

One of our favourite places is the cottage verandah. As the sun begins to set, the soundtrack of the estate changes. Bellbirds give way to frogs calling from the dams, native wildlife begins to emerge and, on clear winter nights, the stars appear in breathtaking brilliance. Far from the city lights, the Milky Way stretches overhead in a truly unforgettable display. Here, the days are measured by birdsong rather than notifications.

Although you'll feel wonderfully secluded, you're perfectly positioned to experience the very best of the Hunter Valley. Award-winning Bistro Molines is just 10 minutes away, while the renowned wineries, restaurants, concert venues and attractions of Pokolbin are approximately 30 minutes from the cottage.

For those who enjoy exploring on foot, take a leisurely stroll to nearby New Gokula, where free-roaming peacocks wander the grounds, gentle sacred cows graze peacefully, and delicious vegetarian meals are served by donation.

Prana Cottage is located within our family-owned 18-acre estate. While the cottage offers privacy and your own dedicated spaces, you may occasionally see us tending the gardens or caring for the property. You may also meet our two friendly farm dogs, Phoenix and Luna, spot our free-ranging chickens, or hear the rooster greeting the dawn—part of the authentic rhythm of country life that makes Prana Estate so special.
