It appears that the accommodation details provided on the VRBO website may not have been fully reviewed before making the reservation. There are permanent tenants living on the upper floor, and guests do not have access to that area. The main entrance has two keys, one for the permanent tenant and one for the traveling guest. The guest’s bedroom has a separate key that is only provided to the guest and is not accessible to the permanent tenant. This information is clearly provided on the VRBO website. The upstairs tenant also has a separate entrance and key, so guests have no need for contact with the tenant. Regarding safety, this room has been offered to traveling guests for several years, and to date, we have not received any complaints from guests about feeling unsafe. We take the safety and privacy of our guests seriously and provide the accommodation details in advance for guests to review before booking. We would also like to clarify one point that was not mentioned in your review: you booked the accommodation for five nights but did not stay for two of those nights.
