Right in the heart of Port Elliot, Little Bird puts you within walking distance of everything that makes this coastal town so popular. Start the day with coffee from one of the local cafés, wander down to the famous Port Elliot bakery, spend the afternoon at Horseshoe Bay, then walk home without needing to move the car.



The Space:

Originally built in 1920, the home has recently been refreshed while retaining the character and charm that make older beach houses so special. With a relaxed surf-coast feel, quality furnishings and comfortable living spaces, there's plenty of room for families and friends to spread out and settle in. Sleeping up to eight guests across four bedrooms, Little Bird offers one King bedroom, one queen bedroom and a third and fourth bedroom with two king single beds each, making it just as suited to family holidays as it is to weekends away with friends.

There is one large, modern bathroom with walk in shower, vanity and toilet, then a second toilet in the laundry.



The backyard has recently been transformed and is one of the home's best features. New lawn creates a beautiful open space to enjoy throughout the day, while the custom-built timber daybed is the perfect spot to stretch out with a book, enjoy the afternoon sun or simply slow down for a while. Outdoor dining completes the space, creating an easy setting for long lunches, summer dinners and relaxed evenings after a day at the beach. With parking for up to four vehicles, there's plenty of room for larger groups or families travelling together.



The Neighborhood:

Port Elliot has long been one of the Fleurieu Peninsula's most loved seaside towns. Beautiful beaches, great local food and a genuine small-town atmosphere make it a place people return to year after year. Little Bird puts you right in the middle of it all, offering a comfortable and stylish place to come back to at the end of each day.



From the house, you can stroll over to Horseshoe Bay, Ladies Beach and Knights Beach. Pick up pastries from the famous Port Elliot Bakery, settle in for breakfast at Flying Fish Café on the bay, or Cockles Café on the Strand, and stock up on local produce, coffee, and amazing sandwiches from The Jetty Food Store just across the road. Spend your days exploring the coastline, swimming in the bay, jumping off the jetty, or simply enjoying the local life of Port Elliot, with some of the town's best loved spots all within easy walking distance.



Other Things to Note:

Please note that this is a very strictly non smoking and vaping property both inside and outside. Non compliance with this will result in fines of $250.

No parties, no schoolies.

Must be 25 years of age to book.

Sorry, no young children under the age of 12.

One well behaved NON-shedding dog is allowed on holiday with you, but you must let us know beforehand. A $75 pet fee will be payable.



Our properties are fully self-contained and we supply starter provisions consisting of laundry powder, dish liquid, a dish cloth, bin liners, milk, coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper, as well as bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap). A spare roll of toilet paper is provided per toilet. Please note that these complimentary provisions are supplied to get you started for your holiday and are not replenished during your stay. We provide bathroom linen for the number of guests included in your booking only. Please bring your own beach towels. Bathroom linen is strictly not to be used for the beach.

Bedroom 4 will be locked and unavailable for use for bookings of 4 guests or less unless especially requested. There will be an additional cost.

A 25% deposit is required upon booking confirmation. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your stay. Cancellations made during the refundable period will receive a refund of all payments made, less a $30 cancellation fee.



A pre-check-in form must be completed before arrival, which includes submitting a valid ID, a selfie, and agreeing to our terms and conditions. Pricing reflects standard occupancy and associated household use. Accurate guest numbers must be confirmed prior to arrival to ensure the home is prepared and serviced accordingly.



Interaction with Guests:

You will be given a code for the door on the morning of arrival.
