Welcome to Woodward House, the ultimate base for your next multi-generational family getaway. This expansive five-bedroom home is designed for large family groups who want to holiday together without feeling cramped. Nestled in a quiet residential area, Woodward House offers the perfect mix of social hubs and quiet retreats, all centered around views of Lake Taupo and Mt Tauhara.

With a layout that works perfectly for two or three families holidaying together:
The Adults` Retreat (Upstairs): Three light-filled bedrooms with Queen beds allow the adults to relax in comfort. Two of these rooms open directly onto the balcony, perfect for catching the sunrise over the lake.
The Kids` Zone (Downstairs): The lower level is a dedicated space for the younger members of the family. With two bunk rooms and a ping-pong table in the garage, the kids can have their own `base` while the adults enjoy the quiet upstairs.
The upper-level living area is the social hub of the house. Whether you’re cooking a big family breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen or firing up the BBQ, there is space for everyone. The bright conservatory is a highlight, offering a warm spot to enjoy the views in any season.

The home has five bedrooms offering various bedding configurations and three bathrooms.
Upstairs:
Bedroom 1: 1 x Queen Bed (with Ensuite)
Bedroom 2: 1 x Queen Bed
Bedroom 3: 1 x Queen Bed
Downstairs:
Bedroom 4: 1 x Single-over-Double Bunk Bed & 1 Single Bed
Bedroom 5: 4 x Sets of Single Bunk Beds (8 beds total)
Please Note: The bunk beds are designed for children and teenagers. To ensure everyone’s safety and comfort, the top bunks are not suitable for adults. We also recommend that children under 9 years of age do not use the top bunks.

Key notes:
This home is located in a quiet, established neighbourhood. We have a strict no-party, no-event, and no-excessive-noise policy.
Professionally laundered, high-quality linen and towels are included in your stay.
Exterior cameras are in place for your safety and the security of the property
We ask that guests respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 pm.
To keep the home fresh for all guests, smoking, vaping, and pets are not permitted.
The primary booker must be 25 years or older.
When making a booking request please include information on the age range of the guests intending to stay and your plans for while you are in Taupō.

We have a strict no large group or parties policy, disruption to the neighbours will not be tolerated. If we are notified of parties or illegal activity you will be evicted.

You will be required to complete a check in form prior to arrival (excluding identity verified, Airbnb accounts) which will include a copy of your ID and the details of all guests intending to stay at the property. Failure to complete this form will result in the booking being cancelled.

The guest named on the booking is responsible for the property for the duration of the stay and must take all reasonable care of the house. For breakages or damages be aware that you will be charged for the repair or replacement plus a 10% handling fee. It`s your responsibility to familiarise yourself with potential hazards or situations during the stay and take appropriate care or actions if needed.

All properties must be left reasonably clean and tidy, ensuring all furniture and appliances are returned to where they were. A general service clean is included, but if the property requires extra cleaning, you could be charged an additional $50.00 per hour, this includes BBQ’s, excess rubbish, soiled linen and odour removal.

All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions and House Rules.
