Welcome to Great Lake Getaway, a popular holiday home perfectly positioned to help you make the most of everything Taupo has to offer. This generous 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home is designed with families in mind, offering a wonderful mix of social spaces and modern comforts.

The heart of the house is the spacious living and dining area, which flows naturally into a modern kitchen. Whether you’re sharing a meal or relaxing after a day of adventure, there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out.

Downstairs, the dedicated games room complete with a table tennis table is sure to be a hit with the kids (and the competitive adults!), providing the perfect secondary space for entertainment.

Sleeping Arrangements:
Bedroom 1: 1 x Super King bed with ensuite.
Bedroom 2: 1 x Super King bed.
Bedroom 3: 1 x King bed.
Bedroom 4: 2 x King Single beds. Please note: This is a walk-through room, making it an ideal setup for children or close family members.

The outdoor spaces are a true highlight of this property. To the front, a large deck serves as your front-row seat to views across Lake Taupo and Mount Ruapehu.
When the sun goes down, head to the backyard to enjoy the fantastic outdoor area. Fire up the BBQ and gather around the outdoor fire.

Located on Gillies Avenue, you are close to the town centre and lake.
With off-street parking available, there is plenty of room for the boat or cars.

Pet Friendly: Max 1 small to medium dog. Pets must not be left unattended and guests are asked to be respectful of neighbours and their pets. Please advise at booking if bringing a dog.

When making a booking request please include information on the age range of the guests intending to stay and your plans for while you are in Taupō.

We have a strict no large group or parties policy, disruption to the neighbours will not be tolerated. If we are notified of parties or illegal activity you will be evicted.

You will be required to complete a check in form prior to arrival (excluding identity verified, Airbnb accounts) which will include a copy of your ID and the details of all guests intending to stay at the property. Failure to complete this form will result in the booking being cancelled.

The guest named on the booking is responsible for the property for the duration of the stay and must take all reasonable care of the house. For breakages or damages be aware that you will be charged for the repair or replacement plus a 10% handling fee. It`s your responsibility to familiarise yourself with potential hazards or situations during the stay and take appropriate care or actions if needed.

All properties must be left reasonably clean and tidy, ensuring all furniture and appliances are returned to where they were. A general service clean is included, but if the property requires extra cleaning, you could be charged an additional $50.00 per hour, this includes BBQ’s, excess rubbish, soiled linen and odour removal.

All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions and House Rules.
