Robin's Nest is an authentic log cabin built with hand-hewn logs from the 1800's
Robin's Nest is nestled in the private Timberidge Community where all cabins were constructed using hand-hewn logs that are over 100 years old. Robinâs Nest is a bit over 2 miles from Gatlinburg and 3 miles from Pigeon Forge. Sit back and enjoy nature and the surrounding region in this unique log cabin. With 3 levels, 2 gas-log fireplaces, a screened porch and a deck with hot tub, you will love your visit to the Great Smoky Mountains. Located off the main road between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but in private and quiet surroundings, you will enjoy everything this area has to offer. Main level consists of cozy den, gas fireplace, eat-in kitchen, laundry, shower, and screened porch. Upstairs features 2 bedrooms (one with gas fireplace) and 1 bath. Lower level offers additional den, bedroom and bath. Enjoy!
Such a wonderful place to relax at after a busy day! It was like stepping back in time with all the modern convince's. Lots of room for our family of five. Vicky gave wonderful suggestions, which we did and turned out to be our favorite places. We are looking forward to a return trip!!
My aunts, my toddler and I stayed here for 4th of July and had a great time. This log cabin was perfect for a little getaway into the mountains. The communication was great and everything went smoothly. I highly recommend staying here!
We had a great stay! It was clean and had plenty of supplies. The layout is great for families- a bunk bed and queen bed downstairs, 2 beds upstairs and living area in the middle. We also liked the 3 screened in porches and the hot tub :-)
We found this cabin to be very roomy and comfortable. Plus, it has little things you don't always think of, like plentiful outlets and lamps. We would definitely come here again, and the host was great to communicate with.
Loved the views. Very comfortable seating in family room for 5 (we were a group of 6). Ended up not using the hot tub but it was all heated up and ready to go for us! The family room was not well lit, but on the flip side was very calming. Kitchen was bright and great for games at the table. The listing did say they provide shampoo, so no one packed any. Turned out there wasnât any, so had to make a special trip for it. All in all, a pleasant stay.
Our family of four really enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin in the woods between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
Three stories, clean and comfortable.
Linda is a very welcoming host.
Would recommend and come back!
The only issue was the deck area was covered in webs and very large spiders so we did not use the hot tube or go out there at all. Which we realize itâs the mountains but they were everywhere and the windows were covered in them as well.
This was our first family vacation with our two kiddos, and Robin's Nest was perfect! The cabin was beautiful and charming and allowed us to spread out (Mama, Daddy, two kids, and two grandmothers all had lots of room). And Linda was incredibly responsive, kind, and hospitable. We can't wait to come back!
We love this cabin! This was our second time staying here. It is cozy, quiet, and relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the necessary appliances. The back porch was screened in which made us feel at ease with our toddler and it helped to minimize bugs. Three bears visited the property during our stay. It is in a good location, an easy drive to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. The owner was very helpful. Iâm sure we will be back!
Absolutely loved the place, so peaceful from the hussel and bussel of everyday life. Plenty of room for every one. Close, yet far enough away from the traffic. Close and easy access to Gatlinburg or Pigion Forge. Cant wait to come back.
From the moment we booked this cabin to when we left it was so easy. All of the instructions were easy. The cabin was beautiful and perfect. Linda was very quick with any questions we had. The location of the cabin is perfectly. Our boys loved the downstairs area. Each bathroom was stocked with towels, washcloths, and toilet paper. I would recommend this cabin to everyone. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.
Firstly, Linda is a great host. She answered all of the questions I had in a timely manner. We booked during Christmas and also when the weather decided to be like 1 degree and snow/ice. Linda communicated with us the condition of the roads and ensured we had electricity for our stay. The cabin itself was amazing. We are sad we didnât get to take advantage of the outside area but thatâs okay because the inside was cozy, plenty of space for a family of 6. If you go when itâs as cold as it was when we went give the heat about half a day to warm the entire house - so bundle up in the meantime. Linda has a Christmas tree decorated at the cabin so it made the perfect spot for our gifts. Overall great stay and great location, too!
