Robin's Nest is an authentic log cabin built with hand-hewn logs from the 1800's
Robin's Nest is nestled in the private Timberidge Community where all cabins were constructed using hand-hewn logs that are over 100 years old. Robinâs Nest is a bit over 2 miles from Gatlinburg and 3 miles from Pigeon Forge. Sit back and enjoy nature and the surrounding region in this unique log cabin. With 3 levels, 2 gas-log fireplaces, a screened porch and a deck with hot tub, you will love your visit to the Great Smoky Mountains. Located off the main road between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but in private and quiet surroundings, you will enjoy everything this area has to offer. Main level consists of cozy den, gas fireplace, eat-in kitchen, laundry, shower, and screened porch. Upstairs features 2 bedrooms (one with gas fireplace) and 1 bath. Lower level offers additional den, bedroom and bath. Enjoy!
My aunts, my toddler and I stayed here for 4th of July and had a great time. This log cabin was perfect for a little getaway into the mountains. The communication was great and everything went smoothly. I highly recommend staying here!
We had a great stay! It was clean and had plenty of supplies. The layout is great for families- a bunk bed and queen bed downstairs, 2 beds upstairs and living area in the middle. We also liked the 3 screened in porches and the hot tub :-)
We found this cabin to be very roomy and comfortable. Plus, it has little things you don't always think of, like plentiful outlets and lamps. We would definitely come here again, and the host was great to communicate with.
Robin's Nest was great. Rustic cabin that was as well appointed as it was authentic. Awesome access to the entire national park, and convenient to Gatlinburg as well. Really enjoyed our time.
Loved the mix of old and new in the cabin. Really secluded while still being close to everything. Definitely would stay again. Only used the King bed but it was super soft.
The cabin had a great homie feel and was in a great location. The check in process was extremely easy and the cabin was better than expected. The jacuzzi was a great add on and great for relaxing. The 2 porches made for a good area to enjoy the woods. I would recommend this cabin to any group.
Absolutely loved the place, so peaceful from the hussel and bussel of everyday life. Plenty of room for every one. Close, yet far enough away from the traffic. Close and easy access to Gatlinburg or Pigion Forge. Cant wait to come back.
This was our first family vacation with our two kiddos, and Robin's Nest was perfect! The cabin was beautiful and charming and allowed us to spread out (Mama, Daddy, two kids, and two grandmothers all had lots of room). And Linda was incredibly responsive, kind, and hospitable. We can't wait to come back!
Location of the property is a perfect midpoint between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, in a cute neighborhood that isn't busy or noisy. The property itself is very nice; lots of space, gorgeous views and outdoor decks a plenty, and excellently furnished. No regrets about booking this property and would happily go back again. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a place in the Smoky Mountains.
This property is absolutely charming! It was perfect for our family of 4. We had plenty of space for together time, yet our own areas/rooms for some alone time. It's the perfect location close to the park, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge. The kitchen was fully equipped for us to cook full meals. There were so many homey touches with plenty of fresh towels, laundry baskets/soaps, hand & dish soaps, oils & spices, and so on. We would definitely stay here again!
We love this cabin! This was our second time staying here. It is cozy, quiet, and relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the necessary appliances. The back porch was screened in which made us feel at ease with our toddler and it helped to minimize bugs. Three bears visited the property during our stay. It is in a good location, an easy drive to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. The owner was very helpful. Iâm sure we will be back!
The only issue was the deck area was covered in webs and very large spiders so we did not use the hot tube or go out there at all. Which we realize itâs the mountains but they were everywhere and the windows were covered in them as well.
Loved the views. Very comfortable seating in family room for 5 (we were a group of 6). Ended up not using the hot tub but it was all heated up and ready to go for us! The family room was not well lit, but on the flip side was very calming. Kitchen was bright and great for games at the table. The listing did say they provide shampoo, so no one packed any. Turned out there wasnât any, so had to make a special trip for it. All in all, a pleasant stay.
