The home was clean and comfortable. The location was great for our visit to Cheboygan, Mackinaw City and golf at Black Lake Golf Club in Onaway. We enjoyed and would stay here in the future.

Perfect for a small family! House was clean and fully stocked with everything we could have needed. We enjoyed the short walk to the private beach and quiet backyard with fire pit.

This property was perfect for our long weekend getaway. It would be a great space for a small family as well. A short walk away from Lake Huron, the private, sandy beach was a wonderful place to relax. The rental company was also very responsive. The location is pretty ideal, being in a quiet area but within 20 minutes of two towns to get what we needed, including a good breakfast at Ma's and ice cream at State Street Dairy in Onaway. The nearby sculpture garden is an interesting place for a walk. We will put this place on our list to stay again, especially knowing there is another rental property next door for friends or family. It would also be the perfect place to cozy up in the winter if the road in were a little less steep for our vehicle.

We stayed for a fall color getaway for 5 nights. The place was decorated for the fall to give it that home feeling. Took a stroll down to the beach area, just don’t get caught by the intimidating private property signs, we have access to it because we are renting it. Nice beach area to take kids to in the summertime. Close to several state parks and a nice drive to a cascading waterfall. Patio is great for an evening fire in the backyard, just be mindful that there is only one door in the front. No back door access. Bed was very comfortable and my husband enjoyed wanting Sunday football in the big big screen TV.There is another property across the gravelb road, but unsure if that is a rental too, but if so it would be great for a family gathering as both houses are off the beaten path with lots of room for kids to run.
