- One bedroom, two bath - will now sleep up to six comfortably. 1118 square feet including 214 square feet lanai.
New 2025 remodel features a very unique Hawaii surfing theme with all new hard surface flooring throughout, upscale stainless steel appliances, high end cabinets with unique glass doors, beautiful Cambria countertops, upper end All-Clad and Le Creuset cookware, all new light fixtures and plumbing fixtures throughout. Living room features a new smart 75" television and two top end, very comfortable pullout queen couch sleepers which can configure as a queen bed each or you can also lower half the pullout sleeper to have two twin beds at two different heights for a little separation. Both bathrooms have been completely redone with very cool ocean surf theme shower tile with custom high end glass shower doors, as well as all new vanities, lighting, and plumbing fixtures. Master bedroom has a large screen tv, brand new upscale (self-cooling California King) bed, palm style ceiling fans, funky mermaid nightstand lamps, and large surfboard wall art. This place was designed for fun - go find your Maui joy!
When you know the Whaler Resort (which you will when you come back) you know that Whaler 807 is a prime desired location on the resort. One back from direct ocean front gives you mind blowing ocean and beach views, south sunny side of Tower 1 gives you spectacular sunsets over the island of Lanai as well as beautiful sunrises over the Maui mountains. This unit is facing the manicured courtyard and pool and is on the eighth floor so it is private and more quiet than other locations on the resort. This south facing location is also protected from the prevailing north east trade winds so is mostly calm which is a great thing to take into consideration.
You will be entertained (November through April) by the migrating whales and dolphins putting on a natural show as well as beautiful catamarans sailing through the water and pulling up right in front on the beach picking up whale watching, snorkeling, and sunset cruises. Relax, enjoy from your spacious lanai watching the sunrise over the West Maui Mountains as you drink your morning coffee, watching other worldly sunsets over the ocean, then fall asleep later to the mesmerizing sounds of the surf.
There is a wonderful beachfront walkway that runs the entire length of Kaanapali Beach. Take a few steps down the beach to the north and you will find the world famous black rock - these waters are the safest in Hawaii for snorkeling, bogey boarding, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, or just sitting in the warm, clear water. Right next door is Whaler's Village Shopping Center which offers a wide array of shopping and dining and a museum as well as various bars. Whaler's Village is the entertainment hub of Kaanapali Beach and features gorgeous opportunities for oceanfront dining at favorites like Leilani's on the Beach, the Hula Grill, and the Monkey pod Kitchen by Merriman. During happy hour listen to live Hawaiian music at the Hula grill and also live music in the evening. Take time to enjoy it all!
Like or need to golf? We have that too! Just across the street is The Royal Kaanapali Golf Course with 36 holes and a driving range all within walking distance. With just a short drive you are in Kapalua at the Bay Golf Course or the Plantation Golf Course which includes a driving range also. This golf course is famous and home to the Sentry Tournament of Champions. Tee it up!
The Whaler is one of only two premier condo resorts on Kaanapali Beach with impressive amenities include concierge, bellman, beachfront pool and hot tub, spacious remodeled lobby, fully professionally equipped fitness center, refinished tennis courts, business center, salon and spa, and beachfront daily maintained gas barbeque grills free to use.
There is an additional "resort fee" of $35/night charged by the Whaler Resort Complex. This fee covers parking, use of pool, fitness center, 24 hour front desk staff, spa, tennis, barbeque grills, free beach chairs, free beach towel replacement daily. This fee is collected by the Whaler front desk staff and is not part of our rent.
