The good: LOCATION! 20 min from airport, 10 minutes to Disney parks, less than 2 miles to Disney Springs, 15 to convention center. VIEW! Being a corner unit we had the Lake in the front, fireworks and Epcot ball in the back. Complex amenities! Gated with huge dock/boardwalk along the lake, pool and hot tub looked nice. Best part was the poolside bar. We didn't get to use any of it but definitely will stay at this complex again. The unit was very clean. The bad: The most poorly stocked rental kitchen we have ever stayed in. If you are not cooking this place will do fine! It had no mixing bowls, no storage containers, most of the cabinets and drawers were empty, and two of the burners on the stove top didn't work. It was missing a shelf in the fridge. There were no blankets besides the one on the master bed (I like to curl up on the balcony or couch with one in the evenings or mornings). No games or books. No local info or check out instructions. Everything in the condo looked original to when it was built. It definitely looks like an investment and the owner never stays here. Could use some serious TLC. We will for sure stay at Blue Heron again and would stay here if it was the only corner unit available.
