The Space:

The Suite



Your 4th-floor room in the West Building is built for mountain convenience. The sleeping area features a king bed, with a queen sofa bed in the living space—perfect for two couples or a family of four. A full bathroom with hot water, towels, hair dryer, and shampoo is at your service. You'll also find room-darkening shades, extra pillows and blankets, bed linens, a bathtub, and a dedicated workspace—everything you need to settle in after a big day outside.



Kitchenette & Meal Prep



The in-room kitchenette includes a one-burner stove, mini dishwasher, mini fridge, microwave, and sink, plus dishes, silverware, and cooking basics. Brew your own coffee each morning using the provided coffee maker. The setup is perfect for light meal prep, storing groceries picked up from nearby shops, or reheating takeout from the restaurants and coffee shops just down the road. No need to eat out for every meal unless you want to.



Stay Connected & Comfortable



High-speed wireless internet keeps you linked to the world (or helps you ignore it). Cable TV and a dedicated workspace make this room equally good for work or play. The suite has heating for cool mountain evenings. Note: There is no air conditioning—typical for the area and elevation—so plan accordingly.



Walking Distance to the Slopes



Less than 5 minutes on foot from the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort, this location is unbeatable for skiers and mountain enthusiasts. Complimentary ski and bike storage is available through our partner Butte & Co., so you won't need to carry gear through the lodge. Free parking on premises includes one reserved spot per room. An EV charger is available if you're driving electric.



Shared Amenities for Recovery & Relaxation



Full access to Grand Lodge amenities means you can warm up in the heated indoor/outdoor pool after a cold morning on the slopes, soak in the hot tub to ease tired muscles, or sweat it out in the large steam room. The fitness center is open for post-adventure workouts. The lobby features gift shops and a cozy fireplace—a nice spot to unwind or grab last-minute essentials.



Convenient Access to Town & Adventure



The complimentary town shuttle service runs regularly, making it easy to explore downtown Crested Butte's full range of dining, retail, and entertainment without worrying about parking or driving. Local coffee shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Whether you're focused on skiing, hiking, biking, or simply enjoying mountain town life, this location supports it all.



Host Support & Property Management



The Grand Lodge is a 3-star property of individually owned condos. There is no 24/7 front desk like a traditional hotel, but we're readily available by message with quick response times and friendly communication. The building is older and shows some normal wear, though everything is kept very clean and well-maintained. You'll have direct support from responsive hosts who know the area and love helping guests make the most of their stay.



Good to Know Before Booking



No daily maid service is provided (Airbnb style), but if you'd like fresh linens during your stay, you can request a turnover with 24 hours' notice for a $100 fee. The pool, hot tub, steam room, and other shared amenities are managed by a separate company outside our control. While these amenities are reliably available, we cannot guarantee access if they close unexpectedly, and no refunds are issued for unexpected closures. This property is not pet-friendly due to HOA restrictions on the 4th floor. License number: 316324.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the condo and Grand Lodge amenities. The Grand Lodge has a Pool, Hot Tub, Gym, Steam room, free parking (guests are given one parking pass per room ), EV charging and is in the perfect location to Mt. Crested Butte. (please note if any of the amenities are not operational during your stay, we will not offer a refund as we don't have control over the amenities).



The Neighborhood:

We are a short distance from the town of Crested Butte where Elk Avenue provides a great place to shop, dine, visit historic buildings and art galleries.

The area offers outdoor activities in all seasons! It is a great place to enjoy hiking, biking, rafting, skiing, and snowshoeing.

The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport is a 45-minute drive from the Grand Lodge. Landmarks and attractions are easily accessible and the resort is just a 5 min walk away!



Getting Around:

Most Guests bring their car to get around (we have a free parking lot with EV charging), but there are shuttles to get around if you'd prefer!

-Unfortunately, the HOA does not allow pets on the 4th floor. You may see pets, however if an owner is staying in their unit, then they are allowed to have a pet (this is the buildings policy and has nothing to do with Traverse Hospitality ).
