à propos de cet hébergement
A Groovy Gem and a Sunshine Edge
Between Albion and Sunshine stations, this vintage 2 bedroom villa is a sweet sun filled retreat with super convenience. Plush with its 3-seater couch offering desirable comfort after a big day exploring, this classic charmer has all the necessities with a 70s groove. The retro bathroom is in dusty rose vintage tiles, offering a separate toilet, shower with tub bath and a washer/dryer combo. There is also allocated undercover parking, plus additional free street parking if needed.
Our place has the comfort of new with the charm of old. The beds are super comfy with pillowtop mattresses and quality linens, the soft grey 3-seater couch is perfect for relaxing, chatting, watching TV or reading a book, and the dining table is big enough for an evening meal for 4, a card game or answer a quick email. There is a desk set up â in the bedroom ensuring you can work and have screen time in the privacy of your bedroom. The kitchen has a medium size fridge, microwave, electric stove and a sink to wash your dishes. We provide all the necessities so you can cook your own meals. Our stay has hardwood floors throughout, so itâs a good place to stay if you have allergies, with a panel heater in the bedroom to create radiant heat. For warmer days, our stay stays cool with a box air conditioner. Itâs easy for access, as there is a digital keylock entrance, which means you wonât need to worry about looking after keys. There is only one small step to get into the property, so itâs ideal for those needing single level living. Ideal for small families visiting Melbourne or family nearby, workers needing a temporary place close to work, or friends wanting to bunk together when attending an event in the city. One of 12 units on site, itâs a neat, tidy getaway in Melbourneâs west.
Guests can use the entire unit and allocated undercover parking space. Please ensure you respect neighbouring residents and their quiet enjoyment.
Albion is around 14 kilometres west of Melbourneâs CBD in our rapidly growing western suburbs. You know youâre in Albion when you see the 1922 John Darling and Son Flour Mill landmark thatâs perched next to Albion station. The suburb is surrounded by Sunshine, Ardeer and St Albans. Our stay is around 700m walk to both Albion and Sunshine stations â the home of the future superstation that will link to Tullamarine Airport. While we are in the quiet back streets near Barclay Reserve and Selwyn Park, we are also super close to Sunshine Marketplace Shopping Centre, City West Plaza, Sunshine Plaza and great shopping, food and services through the streets of Sunshine. On the quieter side, you can enjoy walks along Kororoit Creek. The area is also notable for Victoria Universityâs Sunshine campus which is only 1.4 kilometres (20 minute) walk away from us. If required, Western Healthâs Sunshine Hospital and the Joan Kirnerâs Womenâs and Childrenâs Hospital is only 3.4 kilometres away or an 8 minute drive. For sports nuts, there is Ace Karts, Sunshine Roller Skating Centre, Sunshine Leisure Centre and the Melbourne Off Road Radio Car Club nearby. Check out the Polish Sporting, Recreation and Community Association for some cultural appreciation. There are plenty of cafes on the east of Anderson Road, or discover the Sadie Black CafĂ© on Perth Avenue.
For sports fans, we are 35 minutes to Marvel Stadium at Southern Cross station, or approximately 55 minutes to the MCG, Melbourne Park, AAMI Park and Rod Laver Arena via train to either Richmond or Jolimont.
Our stay is a 31 minute drive to Tullamarine Airport â Melbourneâs international airport. An easy flat walk to Albion station on the St Albans/Sunbury line and only 100 metres to the 456 and 426 bus services to Sunshine station in one direction or Caroline Springs and Melton in the other direction. Albion is easy to catch taxicabs or Uber car ride services. Budget Car Rental is located on Ballarat Road, 5 minutes away.
Our place has no garden area or outdoor space to use for fresh air, however there are nearby parks including a park opposite, Barclay Park and Selwyn Park within the street. Melbourneâs weather can be 4 seasons in one day, so you will need to pack accordingly. We can have strong winds with an Antarctic blast or northerly dust, we can have humid hot days or sweltering dry heat, we can have frosty mornings that can lead into glorious sunny calm days.
House must be left as received except for bed linen and towels usage. No smoking, vaping, drugs or illicit material inside the unit. Cleaning fee is to ensure house is guest-ready for you when you arrive, and guest-ready for the next guests after you leave.
