Professionally managed by Gulf Coast Vacation Rentals this unit is located just steps from the sugar-white sands and turquoise waters of the Gulf, this charming getaway offers the ideal blend of comfort, relaxation, and coastal charm. Nestled within the lovely Colony Inn community, guests can enjoy a peaceful tropical setting while being close to all the shopping, dining, shelling, and biking adventures Sanibel is known for.

Inside, you ll find a light and inviting atmosphere with a spacious living area that is perfect for unwinding after a fun-filled day at the beach. Sink into the comfortable seating, gather with loved ones, or simply relax and enjoy the laid-back island vibe. The kitchen is thoughtfully appointed with stainless steel appliances and everything needed to prepare your favorite meals and beach snacks with ease.

The primary bedroom serves as a tranquil retreat featuring a plush king-size bed designed for restful nights after days spent soaking up the Florida sunshine. Whether you are enjoying morning walks on the beach, collecting seashells, or watching breathtaking Gulf sunsets, this Sanibel getaway offers the perfect place to create unforgettable vacation memories.

House Rule: No smoking. No burning candles inside of lodging. No parties. No pets.

Laundry facilities are conveniently located on each floor of both buildings for guest use.

​​​​​​​Please Note : We're continuing our efforts to maintain and improve the property with enhancements taking place at Building 2 from May 4th through end of June 2026. During this time Building 2 is closed. Work will be conducted Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to approximately 3:30 PM.

Guests in Building 1 and around the pool area should experience minimal impact, though occasional daytime renovation noise may be heard. For safety, some areas of the grounds may be temporarily restricted while work is underway.

We appreciate your understanding as we make these improvements and look forward to welcoming you!

We had a wonderful stay at the Colony Inn.

My husband and I started staying at the Colony in 1998 The remodel of C-1 was way above our expectations We plan to return in August Being able to be on the beach in a few minutes is a joy Michael made us feel welcomed to the property and was very helpful We highly recommend The Colony for a relaxing and fun vacation

The unit was very nice and conveniently located to access the beach by walking. The location was peaceful day and night. The provided beach chairs were very nice and comfortable and the umbrella was in great condition worked perfectly. The pool was small so the water warmed up a bit too much to be refreshing in the heat of the day, but the kids didn’t mind! This was a very family friendly place and we would stay here again.

Wonderful Experience

Colony Inn was such a gem! It was extremely welcome and convenient. They have sure done a nice job with their rebuild! Just a short walk to the beach makes this location a dream! The condo was fully stocked with all necessities. The condo was so comfortable, and we highly enjoyed having a bedroom space and a living room space. The only improvements I would say is to get better pillows and or other options! We did direct book and it stated 20% off, but after the stay I found out that I was not given the discount so in all reality booking through air b and b is just the same as well. This did not hinder my 5-star review. All employees were so friendly and wonderful to work with.

The property was perfect! Great for the value and we would definitely stay again. There was 3 of us, and it was the perfect size. We used the twin sofa bed that opened up from the bench and it was small enough to leave open the entire time in the living room and place in the corner, so we could still use the couch and chair etc. The space was modern and clean, ac worked well and they provided the basics needed for kitchen, and bedding etc. They also provide beach chairs, towels, umbrella, boards, pool floats, etc. which is great when traveling via plane. The office had extras if you need anything else. Ice machine also on site for beach days. The beach was so close, 2 minute walk down a path and in a very quiet area which was amazing. The sunset was beautiful as well as the shelling. Staff was also so sweet and helpful whenever needed. Would recommend renting bikes when you arrive if you don’t get a rental car (affordable and easy to get around that way, can get delivered from Billy’s Rentals ahead of time). Cute small shopping center down the street, 5 minute walk with ice cream shop, restaurant and clothing/beach shop in it. Only thing was this was the second floor so carrying our 50lb bags up the stairs was a trek but we did it ;). This is a corner room so the windows let in a lot of light and not a lot of noise from neighbors. We will definitely return next year!
