Quiet Hinterland Studio near Robina

**A quick note before you book:** From late August, rebuilding works are scheduled for our central event space. There may be some construction noise Monday to Friday during daytime hours, while evenings and weekends are generally peaceful.



Tucked into peaceful bushland in Mudgeeraba in the Gold Coast Hinterland, this private ensuite studio at Hippocrates Health Centre is for people who want a clean, quiet place to land and actually relax. Perfect for couples, solo travellers, work trips, travelling nurses, guests in between homes, or anyone craving a breather, it offers a comfy queen bed, air conditioning, your own private ensuite, and access to shared retreat-style facilities including the pool, steam room and tennis court.



It’s a great-value base if you want the Gold Coast without the noise, crowds and wallet damage of the beach strip. Spend your days exploring Springbrook, Binna Burra, Lamington National Park or Tamborine Mountain, then come back to birdsong, bushy surrounds and a slower pace.



When you feel like venturing out, Mudgeeraba Village has that lovely old-school local feel with cafés, a bookshop, massage, casual dining and handy shops close by. And if a little soul food sounds nice too, you may be able to join wellness events on site during your stay. Check the Hippocrates website for the current programme.



Pets are welcome on approval, so your favourite sidekick can come along for the reset too.



It’s for people who want the Gold Coast, just with more birdsong and less chaos.



The Space:

Your calm little bush hideaway



Simple, peaceful and tucked into leafy surrounds, this private studio is a great option if you want a quiet nature reset without being miles from everything. It also works well for work trips, short stays, appointments, or an affordable and convenient base if you’re in between homes.

Please note:

This studio is set up for a simple and comfortable stay, with tea and coffee facilities and light basics, but no full kitchen or cooking facilities.

· Steam room available on request (currently out of order)

· Tennis court

· Guest laundry with washer, dryer, and eco-friendly powder

· Gardens and bushland surrounds



Guest Access:

You’re welcome to enjoy the shared spaces across the grounds, including the swimming pool, gardens, tennis court, guest laundry, and retreat lounge when it is not in use for classes, workshops or retreats.

The property is set within peaceful bushland surrounds, so there is plenty of space to relax, wander, and enjoy the quieter pace of this unique Mudgeeraba setting.



Other things to note

Hippocrates a working health centre, although it is currently having a makeover done so there is little activity. When operational again, from time to time there may be wellness events, workshops or retreat groups on the grounds. If anything is scheduled during your dates, we’ll always let you know before you book so you can decide if it suits you. On non-event dates, it’s simply a peaceful bush stay with space to unwind.

Pet-friendly

Pets are welcome on approval for an additional fee per pet. Please advise the number and type of pets.

To help keep the studios comfortable for everyone, pets must stay off furniture and beds. Please bring your own pet bedding, bowls and toys.



As the property is surrounded by natural bushland, pets must be supervised at all times and kept on a lead outdoors to protect local wildlife, other guests, and your own furry sidekick.



A little about our bush setting

Hippocrates is located within a nature refuge and surrounded by natural bushland. It’s one of the things that makes the property so peaceful, but it also means we share the area with the local wildlife.



From time to time you may see insects, spiders, lizards, snakes, wallabies and kangaroos or other wildlife around the grounds and occasionally near the accommodation. This is a natural part of staying in a bush environment.



We also recommend taking normal care when walking around the grounds, particularly after dark.



The Neighborhood:

Tucked into a peaceful pocket of the Gold Coast Hinterland, this is the kind of place where the air feels fresher, the birds are louder than the traffic, and your shoulders might finally get the memo to relax. Surrounded by bushland, acreage and horse properties, it feels wonderfully tucked away without being inconvenient.

You’re still close to the practical stuff:



· Mudgeeraba Village about 5 km for cafés, supplies and an easy local meal

· Robina about 7 km for major shopping, dining, services and Robina Hospital

· M1 access about 5 km for quick runs to the coast, theme parks and the wider Gold Coast



It’s peaceful without being isolated, which is a pretty handy combo.



Getting Around:

A car will make life easiest here and gives you the freedom to bounce between bush walks, beaches, village cafés and the wider Gold Coast without too much fuss. You’re around 15 to 30 minutes from key spots like Robina and Burleigh Heads, and well placed for day trips to Springbrook, Lamington National Park and Mount Tamborine.



If you’re not driving, local buses connect to Robina Station, with trains running north and south, and rideshares and taxis are usually easy enough to grab, especially for airport runs.



Other Things to Note:

Please note that the central event/common space at the property is scheduled to be rebuilt from late August onwards. During this period, there may be construction activity and associated noise Monday to Friday, potentially between 7am and 5pm. The guest accommodation areas remain separate from the works, and evenings and weekends are expected to be peaceful.

We want guests to be aware of this before booking so there are no surprises during their stay.



This is a privately managed short-stay accommodation rather than a hotel, which means a more personal stay but no on-site reception. If you need anything during your stay, you can easily message us through the booking platform or by SMS.



· There are no in-room or on-site guest cooking facilities

· Bed linen, bath towels and basic toiletries are provided

· External lights are turned off at 10 pm for guest comfort and to minimise disturbance to local wildlife, so if you’re arriving later in the evening, please bring a small torch or use your phone light

· Please complete the online check-in form sent after your booking is confirmed and agree to our terms and conditions.

· For stays of 14 nights or longer, a mid-stay clean and linen change is required every fortnight to help us maintain the property and ensure your stay remains comfortable. The cost of the clean and linen change is charged separately and will be arranged with you after booking.
