Welcome to our Practical Harbor by the Beach #2âa comfortable, walkable
getaway close to everything South Padre Island has to offer. If location
matters most, this spot is hard to beat. Youâll be less than 100 yards from
the beach and within a short 5-minute stroll to countless restaurants, bars,
shops, and family-friendly attractions while still being a really affordable
SPI rental.
This ground-floor condo (no stairs!) is one of only four units in the building
and offers shared access to a quiet / small backyard pool. Inside, youâll find
a clean, simple space with all-tile floors, high ceilings, an eat-in kitchen
counter, and a cozy corner-bench dining areaâgreat for family meals or game
nights. This property does not have a dishwasher unfortunately The condo has 2
bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. We allow up to 8 people including babies &
toddlers, though the sleeping arrangements are best suited when some guests
are children. The master bedroom features a king bed and private en suite
bathroom.
The guest bedroom includes a fun full-over-queen bunk bed with a twin trundle
underneath, offering plenty of sleeping options. The living room has a
standard couch, and we provide a queen airbed for extra guestsâjust bring
bedding if you plan to use it.
The fully equipped kitchen includes pots, pans, utensils, and dinnerware,
making it easy to cook and save a little money during your stay. A washer and
dryer are also providedâespecially helpful for families or longer trips. BBQ
grills are welcome; we simply ask that grilling be done in front of the
building rather than near the shared pool area.
If youâre traveling with a larger group, we manage all four condos in this
building and can help you book multiple unitsâeach is nearly identical inside.
Youâll love how close this condo is to local favorites: CVS is right at the
beach access, Nautico is across the street for great dining, and you can walk
to Meatball Café, Cafe Karma, Grapevine, Longboards, Tequila Sunsets, and the
famous seafood buffet at Louieâs Backyard. Kids will also enjoy nearby Gravity
Park with go-karts and mini golf.
While this condo isnât newly remodeled & older, itâs fully functional, well-
maintained, and professionally cleaned by South Padre Tripsâ the top local
management team on the island.
Two off-street parking spaces are included. Up to two pets are welcome for an
additional feeâjust let us know. (Pets arenât allowed in the pool area and
should not be left alone if they may bark.)
Contact us for pool hours, and also we do offer very significant off season
discounts Sept 15 to Dec 15th, as well for discounts for veterans & active
duty military. Please reach out we can let you know we would love to host you.
Fresh Towels & bed linens are provided, as well as a starter pack of soaps and
trash bags though it is not unlimited nor resupplied so please plan
accordingly. We do have coffee, filters, creamer, sweetener, tea, non stick
cooking spray and Salt/Pepper all in the condo too but not unlimited nor
restocked
For stays longer than 3 nights, you can exchange towels and linens for free at
our office, South Padre Island Trips, at 2600 Padre Blvd. Office open 7 days a
week, and we answer phones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week a rare thing for a
host
Please read and agree to all house rules before booking. As we have a strict
cancel policy, please ask questions before booking to avoid any
disappointments. We are glad to answer you - just message us here.
Our listing requires the primary tenant to be 23 years of age or older and
present at check-in. If you are NOT 23 years of age you MUST contact us prior
to booking as there are additional damage/security deposit requirements if you
are not 23 for us to comply with property rules
While we want you to have fun, this is not a party property and we do security
patrol this condo property at night , FYI.
Please note we require an e-sign rental agreement with an attached photo ID
after booking. This is necessary to maintain our City of South Padre Island
Rental License. You may e-sign the rental agreement via E sign prior to
arrival to receive your door code. Please provide your email address and
attach a photo of your ID to verify your age.
An electronic door code is provided to enter the property via text message to
the cell phone number on file by 3 pm on day of check in. We do not provide
door codes earlier as we cannot have guests attempting to park nor slowing
down maid service of course. If you need a somewhat earlier check in, contact
our office on day of check in around 1 pm and we can check for you.
Nuts & Bolt Info:
Loud noises are NEVER permitted including music. Complex quiet time is 10 pm
to 9 am. No Smoking * No Parties * No Exceptions - Check in is 3 pm. Check out
is 11 a.m - Our short term City of South Padre Rental License can be provided
upon request.
