From this quiet and character-filled corner of town, you’re perfectly placed to explore the rugged and dramatic landscapes of Tasmania’s west coast — a world defined by moody mountains, mining history, rainforest, and wilderness.

Inside, the cottage sleeps up to four guests across two cosy bedrooms — one with a queen bed, and a second with two singles. The space is warm and inviting, with a comfortable living area, a well-equipped kitchen, books for lazy afternoons, and heating to keep things cosy through cooler seasons.

Queenstown itself is rich with character and history. From the heritage steam-train journeys on the West Coast Wilderness Railway which passes directly in front of the property — through rainforest, gorges, and old mining terrain — to the atmospheric streets lined with old pubs, historic buildings, and unique local stories, there’s always something to uncover. House Rules:
If additional cleaning is required above and beyond what the guest has paid for at the time of booking, this extra cost will be passed on to the guest to cover. Additional costs can be easily avoided by leaving the property in a neat and tidy state and following the check out instructions.

Please note if extra beds are used outside what is required for your group an extra guest fee will be requested for your stay.

In the event of a lockout which due to the loss or misplacement of the primary key or user error, this fee will be your responsibility to pay.
