Spacious, newly remodeled Villa located in the prestigious Punta Las Marias gated neighborhood. Inside you will find a sun deck, ideal for tanning, bar area and pool; these in combination with the large terrace, will make your stay at Villa Doncella unforgettable. The upstairs has four bedrooms and three bathrooms (two of the bathrooms are en-suite). The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, and whirlpool bathtub. There is a fifth bedroom, with a queen size bed, located on the first floor. In recent years, a small semi-private beach has formed at the end of the neighborhood; when the tide is low, it is a great place to visit and relax.

Spring Break

Great property came with 10 people. Felt very safe, plenty of room, and Jorge was great replacing the tv pretty quickly when it wasn't working. locations close to everything. Overall, everyone had a great weekend.

Beautiful property

We loved the house, Very spacious, We were able to walk and eat near the house. Gas station around the corner to buy any necessities and the home was absolutely stunning. We didn't have any issues with Noice like previously mentioned. Cool place overall.

Great Time

We had a great experience at this property! Jorge was very responsive and we were allowed an early check in which was so helpful. The home itself seemed bigger than the photos, and was very clean. The neighborhood itself was noisy at night, with a lot of dogs barking and patrons from the bar, but being in a gated community we felt very safe and never had any issues. The check out process could have been a little more detailed with the instructions, but overall I would recommend staying here and would book again.

Everything was great except the lock on the community gate is pretty old so trying to work the key is tricky sometimes. Other than the everything was great and the owner was able to provide a late check out which was much appreciated.

Very attentive

I would recommend this property for anyone traveling to Puerto Rico. The house is spacious and has a wonderful backyard. The host is extremely attentive and is very responsive. We stayed in this property when there was a power outage that affected the entire island on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Luckily, the property has a generator. The host went above and beyond to make sure to have the gas company come refill the tank late on New Year’s Eve. Thanks to his efforts, our stay was not affected at all. Highly recommend!

Great stay in San Juan

We had a great stay at this property in San Juan. The photos and website description are accurate. The house is perfect for a group. Each room has its own air conditioning unit so everyone can set their room to their own preferences. We appreciated the extra amenities such as large beach towels and a cooler. The backyard is wonderful. We really enjoyed the pool, grill and outdoor furniture. The house was clean and all of the linens were freshly laundered. The host was quick to answer questions and left detailed instructions that were easy to follow for check in and check out. Some of the other reviews mention loud dogs and motorcycles. We did hear both- but it did not negatively impact our stay. When you stay in the city- you need to expect noise. If you want complete silence, don’t stay in the city.The property is in a gated community which made us feel safe. Parts of the area around the property are not well maintained, but the gated community is. It was close to the convention center and old San Juan (about 15 minute drive to either). We really liked this property and would stay here again.

We had a wonderful time! Great neighborhood, felt safe! Only minor things to complain about. Bathtub drain plug didn’t work, and the gate key may need a new battery but all good!

Great location

This was a pretty good, centralized location. The house itself needed a little TLC. It was nice but somethings needed some work so it made the stay a little frustrating. The host was very kind and very quick to respond to us which was very helpful. Overall, it was a good stay.

Great Location

Great location. Located in walking distance of restaurants and a short uber ride to the beach and tourist locations. The tv by the pool had poor reception and the property could have provided more towels and wash cloths for our large party. I would stay here again.

Amazing

The house was just right for the 5 couples & to me it was even better in person as the pictures made it seemed smaller than it actually is. The neighborhood was nice. Location of the house made easy to access Uber right outside the gate. House manager Jorge is quick to respond & allowed us to check in early since the house was ready.

Great house - very loud in middle of night.

The house was great and the pool was very relaxing. But the constant loud motorcycle noise and music at 12 PM every single night was horrible. If you don’t mind, loud blaring noise in the middle of the night, this is a place to stay.

Beautiful home

This property was beautiful and as described. I loved that it was inside a secluded gated community. It is close to the street so you do hear a lot of traffic especially at night, however it was something we got used to within a couple of days. Property manager was responsive each time I texted. Air Conditioning units kept the house cool at all times! I would recommend staying here to anyone who asked.

Perfect Family Home

We took our family and some friends to visit the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. The house and location were ideal for those looking to have a central location to many amenities, beaches, and shops. Jorge, the host, was very attentive and provided great communication. Everything about this stay was beyond what we had expected. We’ll would definitely stay here again.

Good Location-OK house

We stayed in this house with 9 people for a friend's wedding in Carolina. The location was conveniently located for most things we wanted to do. The house is located next to the entrance, which was easy to access for Ubers around San Juan. We asked the host for an early check-in before we arrived and never received a response. The house itself was just OK. When we arrived, we noticed that the stairs inside were deteriorating and a kitchen chair was broken. The foosball table outside was lopsided and unusable, and the outdoor TV did not work. The pool area itself was lovely and we enjoyed the privacy. The two rooms that face the pool area face a streetlight that was extremely bright every night even with curtains drawn. There was also the occasional street race/motorcycle group that was noisy late at night. It was hard to cook a group meal due to the lack of pans/pots/tools provided in the kitchen. A grocery store is within walking distance.The checkin and checkout process were extremely simple and we did not have chores to complete before we left, which is appreciated.

Great villa in a great location

Wonderful villa! The property is in a very safe part of San Juan and is next to some wonderful restaurants. The lockbox can be tricky to find but the host was wonderful helping us out! The hot water can also be tricky, just barley turn the water on to trigger it. Otherwise, its the best place. We will definitely be back!

Love this property!

This is my second time staying here and I will be booking for next year God willing. The manager Jorge is super accommodating and accessible. Dealing with him is always a pleasure. My team enjoyed their accommodations and the space in the house. The beds are super comfortable and I could barely get up. You will not be disappointed. The area is mostly quiet safe. It's inconvenient to the airport and other places of interests in san juan.

Sisters Retreat

My sisters and I 67yr-83yrs vacationed for one month at this house in Puerto Rico. Pros - house and pool cleaned regularly Jorge responded quickly when request were made Gated community made us feel safe and secure Cons - very noisy especially at night - initially thought it was just for the New Year but it remained noisy the entire month of January (we got used to the noise so it wasn’t too bad but for sure do not expect quiet nights.)

Very nice for large groups

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was perfect with everything you need for a large group. The is a very nice restaurant next door. The neighborhood was very safe and clean. The host was responsive when contacted. The pool and backyard was a big plus, bring mosquito repellent. The only down fall is the street noise from the main road outside the Neighborhood. The is a lot of late night, sometimes till 3am, loud music and cars doing burnouts and 360's. I guess it is a local party thing,

Beautiful home BUT….

Home was lovely with everything you need. Pool had no heating ability. Dog boarding kennel was not disclosed. Barking very annoying., but worst was the Bar next Door They had motorcycles roaring until 3AM and very. Very LOUD music blAsting until all hours of the night. We would not stay here again.

Excellent place to stay with many amenities; however it is located in a very busy and loud area

I came here to celebrate a bachelor's party and it was everything and more than I had hoped for. The house was spotless, and most importantly there are AC units in every room to keep you cool from the hot PR summer weather. The gated community makes you feel very safe, however it is the very last house on the street closest to the gate and all of the bars and restaurants next door. Be prepared to be kept awake or awakened by the roosters crowing, the motorcycles and the UTVs that are going up and down the street all night until 6am. We did not have any issue with the dog daycare next door like some other reviews mentioned. We were able to park 2 jeeps in the driveway and close the gate with the included clickers. The roads in PR are very bad and full of potholes, so I recommend renting a SUV. Ubers are very inexpensive as well compared to the states. Power did go out a couple times with the bad energy grid and all of the AC units running across the state, but the house has a backup generator which turns on automatically. However I recommend the host get this generator serviced because it started surging and even almost stalled once. Other than that, I recommend this to any other large group coming here to party as well.

Everything you want/need and more....

This was my first time using VRBO, and I must say, I am very impressed with the host, Jorge, the loction and the property itself. The location was PERFECT, especially being that it was my first trip to PR. Very close to everything you might want to do or see on your first trip there. PR-based coffee shop, 787 Coffee close by absolutely incredible coffee and amazing service, must try. Everything is a short 10 minute/5 dollar Uber ride away. The gated community felt very safe. Also, it is the first house by the entrance of the community which is perfect so you don't have to lug your bags far and you can order an Uber from the house and meet it in a minute when you get outside. The property; saw some other reviews complaining about 2 things, one was the dog kennel next door and the other was an annoying neighbor complaining about music. NEITHER of which gave us ANY issues. The bedrooms were amazing, was looking for a place with 5 comfortable bedrooms for 5 large adults and this was great. Air conditioning was great and the place was cool when we checked in. Cooler, beach chairs available, pool was perfect and clean. Had a small BBQ. No bug/critter issues. The host; Jorge was the actual MVP of this trip. Very responsive, was able to give us an earlier check in and later checkout which was clutch because flight was delayed, would write more but ive reached the character limit, overall I'd give it a 10 Stars if I could. Without a doubt, I will be staying here again. Stay here!!!

Our Adults Only Family Vacay - Beautiful home (Pros and Cons)

This home was as beautiful as we expected from the pictures! We were a family of 9 adults and everyone had their own space. Everyone in my group would agree that the patio is the best part of the house! We grilled, danced, watched TV, got in the pool and played foosball out there... It was a blast! It was also a convenient location (walking distance to a lot of stores and restaurants). As nice as the house is, it is also missing some of the small touches that we're used to having in other rentals; like additional wash clothes and a hair dryer, which we really needed after getting out of the pool. The biggest issue is that there was no hot water in the upstairs bathroom in the hallway. We had 9 adults and needed all 3 full baths, but we were only able to use 2 of them or we had to take cold showers in that one. A plumber came out, but did not resolve the issue. I was really disappointed about this because we paid for 3 full baths because we new that we would need them for a group our size. The home was rented out again right after our stay with the issue not fixed. So, please keep this in mind when you're booking. Overall, I would recommend this house, but just know that you may be missing some of the small touches and short a bathroom with hot water.

BEWARE

Beware! False advertising, negligent landlord, anemic customer service. During my 29 days rental: 3.5 BAs had no hot water on 9 days and no flushable toilets on 5 days (due to cheap design built without electric hot water heater to supplement solar energy on cloudy days and without on-site water tank to buffer unreliable public water system); 5 BRs all exposed to loud noise from motorcycle rallies, karaoke bar, and dog boarding kennel (all within 100 feet of bedroom windows) disrupted sleep on 8 days; semi-private beach was nonexistent except at lowest tides below 10-ft-high rock embankment; front walkway gate (unlockable) and driveway gate (only partially opens automatically) broken all 29 days; ; home improvement contractors remedying water system design deficiencies (not maintenance or repairs) shared rented living space on 7 days. VRBO processed refund of 1 day's rent early on and refuses to do more without owner's consent, while owner "refuses to negotiate" my request for equitable price adjustment for 7 day's rent, so I am disputing charges using credit card arbitration. This owner severely harmed the vacations of my family and friends while violating my trust as a prepaid tenant. Landlord's ultimatum to move out after 5 days in order to receive additional refund was useless given pending arrivals of family and friends flying in from U.S. mainland for vacations. VRBO's view that landlord met obligations under contract is absurd given the facts.
