The home accommodates up to 8 guests across four well-appointed sleeping areas: a master King bedroom with ensuite, a Queen bedroom, a double bunk room, and a sofa bed in a separate section of the second living area — perfect for flexible arrangements and privacy for families or small groups. Soft linens and cosy furnishings make it easy to recharge after a day of exploring.

Location couldn’t be better: just 5 minutes from the beach and a short stroll to local cafés, shops, and eateries. Surf, swim, or simply walk along the golden sands, then return to the comfort of The Willows for a restorative evening. For those looking to explore further, the property is only 90 minutes from Melbourne CBD, making it perfect for a weekend getaway or longer stay while enjoying the wider attractions of the Bellarine Peninsula.

Guest Access:
Most of the house is accessible - except for the unit outside which is blocked off for access. Parking and access to the house is available on Wiltons Road only. The garage is available for use but is only suitable for vehicles with high ground clearance (low suspension/chassis cars are NOT to use the garage). Parking is not permitted on the Thacker Street side of the property.

Interaction with Guests:
Please note I will not be available in person during your stay. I have a management team in place to assist guests with any questions or issues which may arise during their stay.

Neighbourhood Description:
Located on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula, Ocean Grove is a relaxed coastal town that combines beach life with modern convenience. Just 90 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD and 40 minutes from Avalon Airport, it’s an easy getaway for families, couples, or groups looking to slow down by the coast.

Wiltons Road sits in a peaceful pocket of Ocean Grove, surrounded by open space and native bushland, yet only a five-minute drive to the main beach, Barwon River, and town centre. Walks around Blue Waters Lake, the Barwon River Trail, and the Ocean Grove Nature Reserve are nearby, offering plenty of options for exploring the outdoors.

The main shopping precinct and local cafés are close by, with supermarkets, dining, and boutique stores all within a few minutes’ drive. Surf spots like 13th Beach and Point Lonsdale, and nearby wineries across the Bellarine Peninsula, are easy day trips from the property.

Ocean Grove strikes a balance between quiet coastal living and accessibility — everything you need is close at hand, and the region’s best beaches, trails, and local food spots are right on your doorstep.

Getting Around:
Although there are limited public transport options it is best to have your own car to really enjoy all that the area has to offer and the distance from the CBD.

Other details to note:
The house borders the quieter end of Thacker Street on one side and is located on a bus route with the local bus going through Barwon Heads and on to Geelong. The road can get busy particularly during commute times. The property however is well shielded by a high, private fence and double glazed windows to the main living area which contributes to its private retreat feel.

Please do not use the garage if you have a low suspension/chassis vehicle - this is due to the dip in the driveway as it connects to the garage space. Low ground clearance vehicles will scrape the floor. We do not take any responsibly for damage to vehicles using the garage.
