We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kokomo Kove . From the gift basket of goodies as entering the doors to the serene landscape from the deck, we had an awesome and relaxing experience. Not to mention the best sleeping in ages on your plush mattress. Great getaway adventure for us!

Kokomo Kove was such a cozy getaway spot for our small family! Our Host was so thoughtful in thinking of the perfect decorations to make the home vibe feel so comforting. We loved the view of the lake!

Cozy and Peaceful

We absolutely loved our stay! Everything was so cozy and peaceful here. A lot of thought was put into this lakefront home. We hope to get to stay again in the future. Mirian was a great help when needed, and very responsive.

The rental is a well equipped quaint, cozy cabin. The photos are accurate showing the decor and spaces. Lovely deck on west side of cabin overlooking small lake with ducks and geese swimming around. Grounds are well kept. Small pier for swimming and fishing. Very nice place to get away and relax

Overall not a good experience. House was not clean prior to our arrival. Host was appalled and negotiated the cleaning fee refund but was hard to get in touch with.

Unique and Calm

Our time at this cute little cabin was very nice. The decor was so cute. Smelled great when walking in and very clean. Feeling like a cabin Lakehouse all the way around. We especially enjoyed the deck facing the lake and walking on the pier watching the ducks and was so relaxing. Next time I’ll bring my fishing pole. Thanks for all the goodies in our gift basket when arrived, we loved them! This is a quiet place that we will definitely visit again.

By far, one of my favorite locations to stay patio area was a good surprise perfect view of the lake. I would be careful because the grass is very moist and there’s many geese for your pets to chase the dogs. Love running around mostly fenced in except for the lake area so do you keep an eye on your pets dogs next-door were very friendly. The bed in the master bedroom amazing I love the theme and changing the temperature of the house was very easy I would stay here again. The road is bumpy right but it is worth the location area. Also if you’re looking to stay on the west Livingston area. although the website does say, West Livingston, it is East Livingston.

From the owner: Thank you so much for your feedback. We truly appreciate it. As mentioned in the tips sheet left on the counter, there is a natural underground spring located on the left side of the backyard, and that small area tends to remain wet. I apologize if your dogs were greeted by the ducks from the lake. We haven't been able to get close to them. Yes, the roads in Indian Springs are currently being worked on by the POA, and we hope they will be paved with asphalt soon. Thank you for the directions to the website. We will check that out as soon as possible. Once again, we are thankful that you chose Kokomo Kove for your relaxation and sincerely hope you visit us again!

My family spent 3 nights during spring break, at Kokomo Kove, in Indian Springs, just outside Livingston, Texas. We will start with what we loved! The cabin is welcoming and charmingly decorated! There was a cute welcome basket of treats. The kitchen had all that we needed.Sipping coffee on the deck watching the ducks and geese was very relaxing. The ac units work very well during the hot sunny afternoons. Showers were nice and hot, and the mattresses were very comfortable. Many extra cozy blankets were found, thankfully. There is only 2 small electric floor units, and the first night was very chilly. The dock is a great spot to relax over Wild Indian Lake. There was quite a bit of plant growth, and tiny tadpoles. Caught only one small fish, but had fun trying. We enjoyed playing games and crafting. I brought some, but they also provided a nicely stocked shelf in the closet.My husband and I visited the Naskila casino twice, and had a blast. We also visited nearby Johnson's Rock Shop, which is filled with beautiful rocks, crystals, petrified wood, etc. A must see. We all found special souvenirs to take home. Small Suggestions: a binder with some details like where to find certain items( heaters, outdoor trash can, first aid kit,cord to the electric blanket on the sleeper sofa,..) Note: You'll be traveling along unpaved red dirt roads, so turn on the radio, and take it slow. Communication could be improved.We had a wonderful time and would stay there again.
