Algiers Point is the second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. It is situated right across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter. The Point is a historic tight-knit community. The unique neighborhood has a beach town vibe (minus the beach). There are wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars walking distance from the apartment.

Algiers Point has a way of slowing time down - gas-lit streets, neighbors who wave from their porches, and the wide brown river just around the corner. This ground-floor studio loft drops you right into that rhythm, giving you a quiet, character-filled base to explore one of New Orleans' most beloved neighborhoods.
 
Living space
The open layout makes the most of every square foot, bathed in natural light and thoughtfully put together. Settle into the living area with a 55" Smart TV loaded with Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Chromecast, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, and Netflix - or flip through records on the vintage record player for a different kind of evening. A dedicated workspace with fast Wi-Fi keeps you connected when you need to be, and central air conditioning, central heating, and a ceiling fan handle the New Orleans climate year-round.
 
Sleeping arrangements
The king bed is dressed in fresh linens with extra pillows and blankets at the ready. Room-darkening shades pull the light out completely, so whether you're sleeping in after a late night on Frenchmen Street or catching up on rest, you won't be disturbed.
 
Kitchen & dining
The full kitchen is properly equipped - Whirlpool electric stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, hot water kettle, coffee maker, toaster, blender, and baking sheet. Cooking basics, dishes and silverware, wine glasses, and a dining table mean you can do everything from a quick morning coffee to a full sit-down meal without missing a thing.
 
Bathroom & essentials
The private bathroom has a stand-up shower, with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and a hair dryer all provided. Towels, bed sheets, hangers, an iron, and clothing storage - including a closet and dresser - are all included. A washer and dryer are on-site, and there's a laundromat nearby for longer stays.
 
Practical details
Self check-in via smart lock makes arrival easy. Free parking is available on the premises and on the street. Exterior security cameras are in place at the entry door. Pets are welcome, and long-term stays are accommodated.
 
The neighborhood
Algiers Point is one of those neighborhoods that rewards slow exploration - local cafés, Barracuda tacos, and riverfront paths that lead to some of the best sunset views in the city. The $2 ferry puts you across the Mississippi in minutes, with Bourbon Street, Frenchmen jazz clubs, and the French Quarter all within easy reach. Jazz Fest, French Quarter Fest, and Bayou Boogaloo are all close by when the festival calendar heats up.
