To navigate around, hereâs an overview of the area and its modes of transportation:
Private Vehicle: The most convenient way to explore Dawesville and the surrounding areas is by car. The location is easily accessible via the main road, and having a vehicle allows for greater flexibility in exploring nearby attractions like the Peel Estuary, Dawesville Cut, and nearby beaches.
Public Transport: Public transportation options are more limited in this region. However, you can catch buses in and around the town, although the schedules may not be as frequent or convenient for tourists. Itâs advisable to check with local bus operators for specific routes.
Taxi and Ride-Sharing: Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber are available, although the coverage might not be as extensive as in larger cities. It can be a practical option for those without a car, but itâs recommended to plan ahead.
Bicycles: Dawesville is a relatively quiet and scenic area, making cycling a pleasant way to explore nearby attractions, especially along the coastline and natural areas.
Walking: While walking is great for exploring local spots such as nearby beaches and parks, it may not be the most practical option for covering longer distances to nearby towns or attractions.

Local Environment Notice
As this is a beautiful waterfront property in regional Western Australia, itâs normal to occasionally see insects like ants, flies, or mosquitoes â especially if food is left out or doors/windows are left open. While the home is professionally treated, changes in weather can increase activity. We recommend keeping food sealed and doors closed where possible. If anything feels unusual, please let us know â weâre happy to assist.
With the beauty of the water and big beautiful trees in the neighbourhood, you may be lucky enough to spot a bandicoot or possum who may be out at night however, no reason for concern. They are harmless and on occassion take a stroll along the roof - these little critters are not considered a pest but a neighbourhood blessing.
We recommend guest may purchase repellents and encourage guests to take reasonable precautions. This is part of the natural environment and does not constitute grounds for refunds or negative reviews.
Wi-fi is offered as a complimentary extra. As there is no charge, issues will be dealt with ASAP but cannot be guaranteed.
We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes to your plans. Our cancellation policy is strict, and refunds will not be issued unless the issue is caused by our listing. Travel insurance can help cover costs if you need to cancel or your trip is disrupted.
