Cute location and very quiet. Check in was super easy and communication was fantastic. Our only note is that it wasn’t up to our standards of cleanliness.

Very clean, easy to access the place. The only thing I was surprised, there’s no coffee machine or coffee. But other than that. Not a problem. We only needed it to sleep.

Hi Lyn, thank you for your feedback. It was pleasure to host you and we would love to host you again in the future. Sorry for inconvenience. However, we have not mentioned coffee machine in the advertisement. We are transparent with all the amenities that we provide during the guest stay. And we have provided what we have mentioned. As a next step, we are planning to install coffee machine, kettle and toaster machine soon.

We had a wonderful stay at Family-Friendly Spacious 2BR Cozy Basement. The space was spotless, well-equipped, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. The location was peaceful and private, yet perfect for exploring Montreal and Longueuil.Communication with Vinita was excellent — she was very responsive and made check-in simple. We especially appreciated the cozy patio, the stocked kitchen, and the comfortable beds, which made the space feel like home. This rental truly made our trip memorable. We would happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Whether you’re in town to navigate the professional world of Greater Montreal or you’re here to find the perfect school or childcare spot for your little ones, I understand that a successful trip starts with a seamless place to stay.

I’ve always been someone who bridges the gap between languages and logistics. My background is rooted in the art of translation—helping people understand one another and ensuring that important details don't get lost in the shuffle. I bring that same attention to detail to hosting. I know that when you’re traveling, the "small things" (like a desk in every room for focused work or a bus stop right at your doorstep) are actually the "big things" that make your day run smoothly.

I truly enjoy the rhythm of life here in Longueuil. On weekends, you might find me exploring the local parks or keeping up with the latest developments in our vibrant community. I became a host because I love being a "local guide" for people in transition—whether you are here for a high-stakes meeting, a family relocation, or just to soak in the culture of Quebec.

My goal is to provide a space that is as organized as a professional office but as warm as a family home. I’m here to make sure your arrival is easy, your stay is quiet, and your connection to the city is effortless.

Welcome to Longueuil—I look forward to helping you feel right at home!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I chose this neighborhood because it offers the perfect "middle ground"—the peace of a residential suburb with the heartbeat of the city just a few minutes away.

The Scene
Living in this neighborhood is like having a secret shortcut to everything. The street itself is quiet and lined with mature trees, where you’ll see neighbors out for morning walks and kids playing in nearby parks. It has that classic, safe "Longueuil feel" where the pace of life slows down just enough to let you breathe.

However, the real magic is the proximity to the Longueuil–Université-de-Sherbrooke hub. Within minutes, the quiet residential scene transforms into a vibrant, modern urban center. You have the best of both worlds: the tranquility of a backyard-style neighborhood and the convenience of a metro station that connects you to the entire Montreal network.

What I love most is the easy transition between nature and culture:

The Morning Routine: I love that I can grab a coffee at a local café on rue Saint-Charles (the historic heart of Old Longueuil), which is just a short trip away. The street is full of heritage buildings, blooming flower boxes in the summer, and some of the best terraces on the South Shore.

The Waterfront & Parks: Being so close to the St. Lawrence River is a huge perk. Whether it's catching the sunset at Parc Marie-Victorin or taking a quick drive to Parc Michel-Chartrand to spot wild deer, you never feel "trapped" in the city.

The Accessibility: My favorite "hidden gem" is the river shuttle (navette fluviale) during the summer. You can hop on a boat from Longueuil and be at the Montreal Old Port in about 15 minutes. It’s the most scenic commute in the world!

I chose this area because it’s a place where you can be a professional or a tourist by day, and truly relax in a peaceful home by night. It’s a neighborhood that doesn’t force you to choose between convenience and comfort—it gives you both.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Here is what makes this stay stand out:

1. The "15-Minute Rule"
Most suburban rentals feel far from the city, and most city rentals are loud. Here, you are in a quiet, leafy residential pocket, yet you can be standing in the heart of Downtown Montreal in just 15 minutes. It’s the rare ability to spend your day in the urban bustle and your evening in a calm, safe neighborhood where you can actually hear the birds.

2. Designed for the Modern "Work-From-Anywhere" Traveler
While many listings offer a kitchen table as a "workspace," we provide a dedicated desk in every bedroom. We understand that families and groups often have more than one person needing to hop on a call or focus. Combined with our high-speed Wi-Fi, it’s a setup that truly supports productivity without anyone having to work from their bed.

3. Unbeatable Transit Connectivity
It’s rare to find a residential street that is this connected. Having a bus stop right outside the door that zips you to the Metro in 5 minutes means you can leave your car in our free parking spot and explore the entire city like a local. No expensive downtown parking fees, no traffic stress—just pure accessibility.

4. Space for Growing Families
Unlike cramped downtown condos, our space is bright and breathable. With two full bedrooms, a comfortable lounging area with Chromecast, and the flexibility of an extra mattress upon request, we cater to the actual needs of a family. You have the room to spread out, reorganize your suitcases, and truly relax.

5. Proximity to Nature's "Hidden Gems"
You are minutes away from Parc Michel-Chartrand, one of the region's most beautiful parks where you can often spot wild deer and enjoy kilometers of wooded trails. It’s a touch of the Quebec wilderness right in your backyard, offering a refreshing contrast to the concrete of the city.

In short: It’s the convenience of a hotel, the connectivity of a downtown loft, and the comfort of a family home—all in one place.
