The back of the section is fully fenced letting you have privacy to read a book, relax or dine in the courtyard in the afternoon sun.

The home is also pet friendly for house-trained domestic pets which is brilliant as it means the whole family can be together on holiday.

Inside, guests will find two bedrooms downstairs: one with a queen bed, and one with two singles. There is also a bathroom with large shower and in the lounge you’ll find a large sofa and a smart TV. Perfect for chilling out.
External doors open to a small patio area that would be a great spot for your morning coffee.

A fully equipped laundry space is also available for guest use with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms: the master has a queen bed, then there is a sunny room with a king single bed and the final bedroom has a set of bunks and a single bed.

There is a good-sized bathroom with a separate toilet.

The lounge, dining and kitchen area is a bright open space while still feeling cosy. The kitchen is well-equipped with all you need to make your stay as easy as possible. The lounge has comfortable seating well placed to take in the view of the blue water of Mercury Bay and a cosy window seat next to the gas fireplace - a lovely spot to watch the sunrise over the ocean, take an afternoon nap in the sun or read your holiday book. There’s also a dining table and seating.

A wrap-around, partly covered, verandah has plenty of space to relax on the loungers, or have a meal. A BBQ is also conveniently located for use rain or shine.

Plenty of parking is available using the grass areas, in front of the garage or along the left side of the driveway (leaving space on the right for access to the rear property.)

A short 350m walk to Brophy’s beach (aka Ohuka Beach), a quick drive over the hill to the surf of Simpson’s beach, or a 40mins stroll along the flat path following the beach (or a short drive) to town, this is a real home away from home.
