We thoroughly enjoyed our few days at '17 on Cheltenham'. The house was perfect for our family of three generations including a 4 year old. We loved the wood burner, fire pit, comfy sofas & beds, and books & games for all ages. The location was great - minutes walking distance to woodland walks, hot pools, and town. We would love to stay again one day.

The kids loved the bedding options, the distance to town was very convenient, tv and lounge room was stylish and house was clean. washer/dryer was very useful at this stage of our holiday. Kia ora! We’re Matt and Jackie — longtime lovers of Hanmer Springs. For over a decade, we’ve been making memories here with our son and close friends, and always dreamed of owning a slice of this special village. After years of searching, we finally found the one — Seventeen On Cheltenham — and knew it was home the moment we walked in.

We’re outdoorsy types (you’ll catch us at Hanmer Park Run most Saturday mornings!) and we’ve poured our love into making this place as welcoming, comfortable, and fun as possible.

We fell in love with Hanmer Springs over a decade ago — it’s our happy place. The village has the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure, with something for everyone in the whānau. When we started looking for a home here, being close to the hot pools and forest walks was a must — and Seventeen On Cheltenham ticked every box. We’re just a 3-minute walk to the thermal pools, Conical Hill, and the charming town centre. Whether you’re soaking, strolling, or sipping coffee after Park Run, you’ll see why this spot is so special to us.

This isn’t your standard cookie-cutter holiday home. Seventeen On Cheltenham is a mid-century modern gem with a soul — full of character, comfort, and thoughtful touches. From the moment you walk through the front door, you’ll feel the warm, laid-back vibe we’ve created with a nod to the 70s (minus the avocado bathroom suite).

You’ll find plenty of space to unwind — indoors and out — whether it’s by the fire with a board game, firing up the BBQ on the deck, or playing a cheeky game of Petanque or Cornhole out back. The fenced yard makes it perfect for pups, and we’ve added all the extras we love when we travel: great coffee setup, comfy beds, Smart TV, and cosy nooks to relax after a soak in the pools (which are just a 3-minute walk away, by the way).

This place was designed for making memories — just like we’ve done for years with our family and friends.
