As you drive down the quiet street toward Pine View Cottage, the first thing youâll notice is the glimmer of Lake Huron peeking through the trees. The fresh lake breeze greets you as you pull into the huge yard, where pine trees sway gently - this is your family's place to relax, reconnect, and make memoriesâand I canât wait for you to experience it!

Step inside, and youâre immediately wrapped in comfort and warmth. The open-concept living space invites you to settle inâwhether that means curling up on the huge sectional with a movie on the Smart TV (with Apollo TV & Netflix!) or gathering around the gas fireplace on a chilly evening. The fully stocked kitchen makes meal prep a breeze, with a spacious prep island so everyone can join in as you whip up your familyâs favorite dishes. Best of all, youâll never feel left outâthe open design keeps you connected to the laughter and conversation happening in the dining and living areas.

At bedtime, everyone has a cozy retreat to unwindâa king bedroom for ultimate relaxation, and two queen bedrooms perfect for a restful nightâs sleep. And with everything on one floor and just two steps into the cottage, Pine View is an easy and accessible stay for guests of all ages.

OUTSIDE
Out back, I love starting the day with coffee in the sunroom, and I know you will too. In the evening, youâll unwind with a glass of wine under the gazebo, enjoying BBQ dinners at the outdoor dining table. The huge yard is perfect for funâplay a round of cornhole, practice your putting, or let the kids and pets run free.
When youâre ready for the beach, just grab the wagon and chairsâitâs only a 2-minute walk to the sandy shoreline. Youâll watch the kids build sandcastles, splash in the waves, or simply relax with a book.
After dinner, take a short walk back to the beachâtrust me, Lake Huronâs sunsets are some of the best in the world. Then, gather around the propane firepit, roasting marshmallows and sharing ghost stories under the stars. This is what cottage memories are made of.

When you're ready for a lakeside adventure, the nearest lake access is just a short stroll away. Itâs the perfect spot for a quick swim or a relaxing beach walk.
And NO STAIRS - smooth paved path leads you down to the Lake.
NOTE: The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.
Linens are available for $20/per person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.
All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25, photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. Max occupancy at all times is 6, violation will result in removal without refund. This property is equipped with a monitoring device (including noise, temp & wifi connections. Has outdoor camera located above the garage)

Clan Gregor Square is the heart of our quaint community where many local festivals/carshows and you won't want to miss the farmers market in season. Pioneer Park is another local favoriteâkids will love cooling down at the splash pad. There's always something happening here, whether it's morning yoga or artists painting the sunset.
Wander downtown and find your new favorite cafe, and be sure to save a day to explore Bayfield's wineries and breweries! Just a few minutes away, you can enjoy an amazing wine tasting experience at Hessenland Inn & Schatz Winery.
Visit during the off-season to catch favorite annual events like VetteFest or for a girl's getaway weekendâwe're happy to suggest our favorite local spas, wineries and breweries, shops, and yoga classes.
