Lavish, tropical living among the breathtaking beauty of the Byron Bay hinterland will awaken and enlighten your senses. The Balinese-inspired design of Bodhi Nature with its sprawling floor plan, scrumptious views and natural materials, beckons you to move at a slower pace. Situated close to Byron Bay and beaches, families will also appreciate the saltwater pool, multiple outdoor entertaining zones, four luxurious bedrooms and various living spaces. And you even have space for quiet reflection in the meditation room. 'Enlightenment' is what 'Bodhi' means in Pali, an ancient Buddhist language.
A tropical oasis flanks the path that leads from the private parking to the impressive entrance of Bodhi Nature. The free-flowing interior and high ceiling drinks in natural light as expansive timber-frame and glazing invites the contrasting lush mountain views and sparkling water of the pool.
The floorplan creates separation of spaces while emphasising the outdoor lifestyle. It all starts in the open plan living, kitchen and dining that wraps around the saltwater pool and outdoor living zones. A generous living area offers both intimacy and space to gather with various seating options including a cozy sofa in front of the fireplace. It’s a seamless transition to the dining zone where you can soak up the picture-perfect hinterland vista. In the inviting kitchen, a servery window allows for easy outdoor entertaining and you can enjoy the view while preparing meals.
Exposed timber frames and natural light bring warmth and comfort to the three exquisite bedrooms in the main house, where you’ll drift off to sleep surrounded by nature and wake up to the stunning views. A resort-style master ensuite with free-standing bath and peaceful views is the ideal spot to wind down. While there’s an equally impressive family bathroom complete with bath and a lush outlook. Guests also have the option of the yoga/meditation room which is a self-contained space that enjoys a serene outlook while adopting the same natural warmth of the main house.
Specialist in feng shui, the architect has applied these principles in the placement and design features of the home. Feng shui was the initial inspiration for the house design.
Outside the exceptional features of this home are waiting to be discovered. The saltwater pool offers an escape from the heat while the surrounding timber deck encourages hours of relaxation. Outdoor entertaining is a breeze as you have two covered dining areas and there’s sub-tropical gardens to explore. And for the ultimate view, the cabana is perfect for stargazing and moonlit relaxation. The property also has creek frontage; with swimming hole and rock pools one can sit, within the waterfalls!
THE AREA
You’re within easy reach of your hinterland surroundings while stunning beaches are just a 20-minute drive. The charming village of Bangalow is only a 12-minute drive where you can sample the local produce or simply admire the lush location. If you’re seeking some water activities, take a drive to Byron Bay and spend the day at the beach, grab a kayak or learn how to kite surf. If you want to get closer to nature, there are numerous rainforests and national parks where you’ll find stunning waterfalls and bushwalking tracks.
BYRON SHIRE NOISE RESTRICTIONS
All of our Byron Bay houses have firm no party policies with no additional guests allowed to visit the house at any time. Sound travels to the neighbours easily and as such, noise levels are to be respectful at all times of the day and no music or outdoor entertaining whatsoever after 10pm.
Receiving a noise complaint will result in a bond deduction if Quiet Hotline Security are called to the house and they deem the noise levels from the street disruptive to the neighbourhood. These fines from the local Quiet Hotline Security can occur at any time from 6pm – 6am and are $165 each time plus a $55 processing fee. Multiple noise complaints may result in being asked to vacate immediately with no refund of remaining tariff or bond.
Sorry to be so strict but noise levels are a serious issue in the Byron Shire and keeping our neighbours happy is of paramount importance.
