Hillside Hideaway is the perfect base to explore your surroundings, with easy access to some of Cairns’ best hiking trails including the Yellow, Red, Blue & Green Arrows. Or hike across Mount Whitfield to the trendy suburb of Edge Hill for a coffee or yoga class.

Situated beside the edge of the rainforest that is Mount Whitfield, 'Hillside Hideaway' offers a cool and private place to relax and kick back to escape the Cairns heat.

Conveniently located just 6 minutes away from the airport terminal, it also doubles as a quick getaway for those early morning flights.

Enjoy air conditioning and polished concrete floors throughout, with a vibrant and modern interior... In fact, you just can't help but feel a little bit brighter just by setting foot inside the front door!

Offering access to a Nespresso coffee machine, large smart TV, full-size refrigerator and freezer, Samsung top-loader washing machine, soft bamboo bed linen and even a vintage-style record player - we hope all our guests will feel like they've truly found their second home.

As hosts, we'll provide complimentary fruit as well as a small selection of tea, coffee pods and other goodies. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner are also provided free of charge.

The apartment is completely self-contained and located on the ground floor of a large Queenslander home. Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, Hillside Hideaway is a peaceful location close to nature, with an abundance of bird life and frogs nearby, and lush plants lining the windows.

**Please Note: The two floors are entirely separate but as the owners live upstairs, occasional footsteps may be heard. Feel free to draw on the owners for local knowledge by reaching out via phone / email.**

Staying in Aeroglen means you'll get to experience a small taste of the wild without compromising on your location or being too far away from the action.
