The Snuggy -NEW! Ocean views -Private - Eco-Lux - King Bed - Adults Only!

The Snuggy is located on Smokey Mountain and was built in 2024 to provide our guests with a private eco-friendly adult-only luxury cottage getaway. The property features some of the most spectacular views you will find in all of Ingonish! Watch the sun rise from the ocean and set in the mountains.
We believe the bed is the most important part of a comfortable stay! The comfortable Luxurious King Sized bed and pillows are Canadian made of pure organic latex foam with organic cotton bed sheets and down-alternative duvet.
There are private walking paths created on the property for you to discover with breathtaking views of the ocean, coastline, harbour, sunrises, sunsets, mountains and the Keltic Lodge.
The large front deck is complete with Adirondack chairs, a dining area and an electric Weber bbq. The kitchen is equipped with a toaster oven, portable electric cooktop, mini fridge, kettle and French Press Coffee Maker. Organic Coffee and a variety of teas are provided but milk is not due to personal preferences.
The quiet, cool evenings on the mountain provide for the perfect sleep with a fresh air breeze and cooling ceiling fan. The interior of the cabin is out of direct sunlight and decorated with black out curtains.
Wash and fold laundry service is available by the host for a fee to guests staying 2 nights or more. Host lives on property.
Guests will be provided with a gate entry code prior to check-in to assure privacy and security on the property.
Please note that this is an allergen free cabin and does not accept any pets or service animals.

My wife and I have stayed at quite a few VRBOs and AirBBs in North America and Europe and we both agree that this one was the best. The location is beautiful with a great water view. The host did not miss anything when setting the place up, from the “welcome to the Snuggy” book to the slippers it hit all the marks. The host was very responsive to include checking during the stay to ensure everything was satisfactory. The Snuggy was in great condition (my wife loved the mini fridge) and very clean. Would highly recommend for couple who wants quiet in a beautiful setting. Like I said, this is the best of VRBO.

If this property is available for you, you need to jump at the chance. A cozy quiet getaway it was everything you could want. The kitchen, while compact, had everything you ever wanted. The room was decorated lovely, the bed was comfortable, I love the eco-friendly touches. The view was amazing and we had an excellent time just reading on the porch and watching the sunset with the ocean view. The paths through the property were fun and at the time we went (late August) the blueberries were in full swing, made for a lovely fresh-picked snack. I felt so comfortable and relaxed, I wish we could have spent our whole vacation at this place. I would recommend without hesitation.

Exceptional Cabin

The Snuggy was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. You can tell so much thought was put into the design and stocking of the cabin. The location is great for getting to hiking trails and the towns nearby. We highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful retreat

We loved this cabin. The view is amazing. It is a great location. It has everything you might need and lots of decorative touches to make it cozy and comfortable. The bed was great. I would highly recommend it! Just wished we had stayed longer.

Oh the view!

Very well cared for property and so much fun as a couple. Coffee and wine on the deck with a water view. The bed is so comfy. The coffee was delicious. Romantic!

Amazing stay at The Snuggy! So peaceful and secluded. Paul was amazing with information and very quick to respond to questions. Check-in/out was seamless and the information book that was left for guests was very helpful. The accommodations were fantastic, very clean, spacious and so comfortable. The bed was a dream to sleep in and the picturesque views of the ocean and the Keltic Lodge from the deck with a glass of wine were a perfect way to end the day. Would highly recommend staying here!!!!
