Fishing trip

Fantastic Beach Stay

My family and I came down to the Surfside area for spring break and had a wonderful time. House was in a great area had everything we needed. Hosts were very responsive and helpful, would love to come back again.

I really enjoyed our stay and loved the house and everything was great. Nice splashpad nearby for the little ones and they loved it.

The Bee Happy house is nice, the neighbors are quite. The house has a good breeze when out on the deck relaxing.

Fabulous Host! Super Clean!

Cute, very clean well maintained house. Beds were comfortable and linens were great! Lots of extras! beach toys, chairs, etc. House was quiet and not too far from beach. We enjoyed our stay! Host was amazing and we had 2 year old to 81 and all enjoyed our time. It is a smaller house, but for the short time, it was perfect!

great place to stay

i wanna say how much fun we had here. even thought weather was not great for us. she sent us things we could do while at the house. which was so helpful. house was clean and had everything we needed will be planning another trip to this house hopefully for the summer :)

Great family escape

My family had a blast! Checkin was easy and we were able to arrive a bit early. Communication was top notch and we even got a little gift for my husbands birthday. The kids played on the beach and enjoyed the bicycles. We brought a Nintendo Switch with us so when the weather cooled we still had family time. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be doing this again one day.

Labor Day Beach Getaway with Friends

We had a great time. My wife and two kids met some long time friends and their daughter for a two night getaway. The property was exactly as advertised, plenty of space for both families. The bicycles were also a hit.

Wonderful stay

The photos of this property don’t do it Justice. It’s super cute and cozy, and has pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of cooking utensils, we were able to cook full meals without feeling like we needed anything additional. A keurig and regular coffee maker are provided, as well as other various appliances that made our stay feel that much more comfortable. The full size bed in one of the additional bedrooms is a little uncomfortable, but would be great for someone who prefers a super firm bed. A pro/con is that there is only ONE tv. However, it wasn’t a huge downer. It allowed us to have more family time, and although I was a bit disappointed at first, I was grateful for it by day 2. There are board games for both adults and kids which provides additional indoor entertainment. The bikes provided were a huge hit with my family. We loved taking them to the beach during the day and night. She also provides a wagon for the beach. All the little touches Deborah added to this rental, really make it feel like home. They also allow for a more comfortable/ relaxing trip. The location is great, and just a 5 minute walk to the beach (you can see the water from the right hand corner of the deck) The town is small and only has (2) ‘major’ streets, I say major lightly because the speed limit on both streets are 30 mph and have very little traffic. There are several grocery store options within 15 minutes of the home. As well as a dollar general about 6 minutes away (driving) There is a book provided that gives you more information about the town and what they’d like you to do as far as ‘house rules’ go. I would like to see a guest book of other people who have visited, what their favorite places & restaurants were. As well as the owners recommendations. We really enjoyed the food at the Jetty Shack- but be aware it is a bar setting, if you have kiddos. They do offer carry out food! Surfside is a small town and there aren’t many things to do other than visit the beach. I really enjoyed the pace of life there. It’s a great place to relax and leave all of your worries at home.

Cool theme, nice, quiet area

The house was really nice. It was in a quiet area close next to the beach. It was kind of funny how everything was bee themed. You should change the sign at the top of the door to say "bee happy" instead of "be happy" lol

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this gem. Deborah, the host, was always available to answer any of my silly questions. The house was fully prepared for a guest to stay. I was in total shock how well the house was stocked for guest. For example I didn’t have to spend extra money on dish soap, trash bags, first aid kit, after-burn care, sponges, or aluminum foil. She has thought of everything. Board games and a puzzle are available to enjoy. Plenty of chairs on the porch to sit and enjoy the outside. The walk to the beach wasn’t all that far either. It has a washer and dryer available, which made it nice to clean the sandy clothes. If you forgot a beach towel or need extra towels she has it fully stocked. Not to mention the wagon and chairs to go to the beach with. By far the absolute best stay with Vrbo. Thank you for allowing me to experience your place.

Great Stay!

Adorable little house in a great area with everything you need. Love the bikes, road to the jetty, the store, the splash park and the butterfly trail all so close! So much fun, would definitely stay here again!

It was nice.

Location was good, kitchen well equipped. But the living room couch was uncomfortable. Master bed mattress was harder than usual. Having bikes was a plus.

Best home away from home!!

1st off the kids loved it! Everyone got their own bed and wasn’t crammed together. The kitchen was awesome and well organized with most of the tools you would need to cook 3 meals a day like us! Beds were super comfy as well! What a great last minute find for Father’s Day weekend!

I had such a fun weekend with my friends. Not too far from the beach and not super close to other houses which we loved. Just make sure you watch out for the mosquitos!!!!

Great Neighborhood Feeling with views of Jetty and Channel

Perfect quiet getaway with our family and guickly made friends with the neighbors to the side and in front of us. We loved every minute of Yatzee, Football on TV, and Surfing Santa's. Kitchen is fully stocked with dinnerware, flatware, cooking utensils, cleaning items under sink [and in wash room]. The bedding and bath towels were very clean and comfortable, however, suggest at least 1 wash cloth per bathroom, if possible. Thanks for trusting us with your property!

Wedding/get away weekend

This property was very nice and had plenty of beds for my family. We were able to walk to the beach and watch the huge ships from the house porch. We also visited the Sea Center (free) before attending a wedding that evening. It was a nice relaxing experience.

Truly amazed at attention to detail. From the welcoming treats/snacks to the beautiful decor right down to the coffee cups. We were so pleased and thankful for the clean, bright and airy atmosphere. Beach trip

Booking was easy and we were offered an early check in. Any questions I had were responded to quickly. House could easily sleep 10 (1 on couch). We only had 8. House was pretty well stocked. Games and all.Needs room darkening curtains in bedrooms. Sun will wake you up early. Only 1 TV but most people spend there time on the deck or at the beach. We would have liked 1 in bedroom to watch at night. I would recommend this to anyone. We had a blast.
