Welcome to Beachside Base, a private family coastal retreat located only a 5 minute stroll from Moana Beach.

This holiday home is the perfect base for touring the Fleurieu Peninsula with only a 12 minute drive to McLaren Vale or 15 minute drive to Aldinga Beach or 42 minute drive to Victor Harbor. Take your pick of lazy beach days or winery tours or wildlife encounters or why not do it all! Seaford Shopping Centre is also only moments away, as is the Seaford Train Station and the Southern Expressway, making the rest of Adelaide city and suburbs easily accessible.

Featuring 3 bedrooms, 2 living areas, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and Nespresso pod machine, air conditioning and heating, free WiFi, 1 bathroom with shower and vanity, separate toilet, laundry facilities, outdoor entertaining area with BBQ, fully fenced yard, carport, garage, linen and cleaning included.

Very comfortable with good kitchen. An easy walk to the beach. Having wi-fi for the tv’s would have been good otherwise we enjoyed the stay.

A Lovely Place to Stay

The house has a lovely feel - spacious comfortable, clean and functional - with lots of thoughtful touches. We also enjoyed the pet-friendly backyard with undercover games area. We hope to return in the future.

Great Location, Spacious House

The house is in a great location - an easy walk down to the beach, local cafes and the local Surf Life Saving Club, and less than 5mins to the supermarket by car. The house was clean and well presented (great bathroom!), and had a secure backyard for the dog (as advertised).The whole family, including the dog, enjoyed the stay.Thank you Jo!

Beautiful & spacious holiday home

My family and Labrador had a great stay at the clean and spacious home. It’s walking distance to the beach and central mall. Joanna was a great host and very prompt in answering our queries. Will definitely recommend this to my friends.

Our short getaway

A lovely house, tastefully decorated, close to the beach and all the culinary delights McLaren vale has to offer. We were taking time out to celebrate the end of cancer treatments with our friends and Jo went over and above to provide a memorable experience for us. Thoroughly recommended

The property was fantastic and had all the amenities we wanted but could have done with a few clothes hangers. Jo the property owner was very approachable and made us very welcome with a beautiful bottle of local wine.

Home away from home

Joanne was a brilliant host. She made our stay very comfortable right from the checkin process to the check out. The thing that took it from good to excellent for us were the little touches like: - The way Jo went out of the way to make our toddlers stay great; the new port-a-cot, high chair, toys, baby shower gel, etc. Our stay was comfortable because our toddler was engaged with toys and activities. He referred to our stay as his "special home". - Well appointed kitchen with appliances, crocery and cutlery. - The coffee machine was a nice touch. - A bottle of wine to welcome us. - Some frozen food in the freezer, and drinks in the fridge. - Self contained BBQ. - Shed had activities for the whole family (ping pong table too). - Two living spaces to separate the adults and kids. - Zoned centralised heating and cooling. - Little patch of green in the rear for the quiet evenings. - Proximity to the beach. We were pleasantly surprised to find beach towels in the cupboard. Highly recommend for families. We will be back!

Amazing spacious property and close to the beach

The owner was really easy to talk to and replied promptly. The property was amazing with heaps of space for my family. We could hear the waves crashing from outside and a really easy walk to the beach. The only downside was the comfortability of the pillows but everything else was immaculate.

Great family getaway spot!

This was our first getaway since our boy arrived (now 7.5 months) - perfect spot and just a short walk to the beach. Jo was so accommodating and set up a high chair and porta cot for us too. All in all it we enjoyed everything about our stay! Highly recommend!
