Welcome to Cottage on Dickson, a beautifully renovated two-bedroom post-war 1949 cottage that blends modern comfort with nostalgic charm. The light and bright spaces within the cottage are thoughtfully styled to capture the essence of a modern-day lifestyle while retaining a quaint historical feel. It evokes a sense of warmth and belonging, perfect for those looking to relax and explore Bacchus Marsh and the surrounding country townships.

The master bedroom features a spacious king-size bed, while the second bedroom offers an equally spacious queen-sized bed, both furnished with light but warm and cosy duvets. Both beds are equipped with ultra-soft mattress toppers, electric blankets and luxurious Sheridan linens to ensure the ultimate in comfort. Pure cotton waffle blankets are also provided, promoting a warm, restful sleep.

The cosy living room is enhanced by a warm and inviting electric fireplace and central heating, perfect for those chilly winter days and nights, along with a split system and ceiling fans in each bedroom, ensuring a comfortable environment during the warmer months.

The fully equipped kitchen comes stocked with the essentials you'll need throughout your stay. There is also a separate dining room that serves not only as a dining space, but also as a fun area equipped with a variety of games for your enjoyment. A bar cart is included, stocked and ready for preparing cocktails or enjoying a glass of wine, adding a touch of luxury and relaxation to the setting.

I purchased my cottage in 2022, intending to renovate and sell, but once the transformation was complete, I fell in love with her charm and couldn’t part with her. Now, I happily share this beautiful space with visitors to Bacchus Marsh in Regional Victoria. I hope you come and experience the warmth, joy, and true feeling of home she provides.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My husband and I moved to Bacchus Marsh in 2014 from a large town, and although Bacchus Marsh has expanded quite a bit since we arrived, it still maintains its country-town feel. There is so much to do in the area for nature lovers: walking tracks including Lerderderg Gorge, Werribee Gorge and Long Forest Nature Conservation Reserve, the tall timbers of Wombat Forest and finally, if your up for it, our 1000 steps and lookout, which is located in Darley. Strawberry farms, where you can pick your own with various other fruits, have been a summer pastime for many visiting Bacchus Marsh. The various wineries around the area, beautiful country wedding venues, and some of the best country pubs, are all within a 30 - 45 minute drive!

The cottage provides, luxury linens on both beds, complemented by the softest, most comfortable mattress toppers and duvets for a restful night’s sleep. Guests are treated to complimentary amenities, including Al.ive Body hand wash, hand lotion, shampoo, and conditioner, ensuring a touch of indulgence throughout their stay.

As a host, my goal is to provide a 5-star, memorable experience—one that leaves guests with fond memories of their time at Cottage on Dickson and inspires them to return for another stay in the future.
