LOCATION

The villa is a short walk to the village of Lenno on the slopes of Mount Tremezzina, home to the grand Villa del Balbianello. Perched on the point of the Dosso di Lavedo, a wooded promontory that forms a small peninsula along the coastline, the villa is famous for terraced gardens exclusively featuring flowers and trees the colors of the Italian flag—green, white and red—and made even more memorable as a movie setting in films like Casino Royale. A quick 45 minutes to Como across the Lake by boat, 1.5 hours to Milan by car and 2 hours to the ski slopes of St Moritz.
