We had an incredible stay! From the moment we arrived, it was clear how well this home is cared for. Absolutely spotless in every corner. It truly felt like walking into a brand-new house.One of our favorite features was the screened-in porch. It was the perfect spot to sip coffee in the morning or wind down in the evening without worrying about bugs. The outdoor living area was well furnished and centered around a cozy fireplace that we used every night. And the stream! The gentle sound of the water was incredibly soothing. It added such a peaceful, relaxing vibe to the whole experience.Highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and beautifully appointed getaway.

Spring Break Enjoyment

House was great. Enjoyed evenings watching tv on back screen porch with fire. House layout was perfect for two couples traveling together. Only 2 issues we had was the steepness of the driveway. Got our truck down but was hard to turn around to drive back up the driveway. Ended up parking truck on level spot of street. Bit of a workout walking up and down driveway but the house was worth the careful walk. Too difficult to walk down to the creek. My husband and I tried but he ended up slipping, rolling down. Learned not to do that again. Would stay at The Goat House again.

Awesome Hidden Getaway

This was the perfect, quick getaway we were looking for. The access controlled community made us feel safe and connected, while the seclusion of the property and being surrounded by the sounds of the rushing creek in the back made us feel like we had truly gotten away. The host was quick to respond to inquiries (sub 5 minutes) and went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. We’d love to come back!
