MOONTA BAY HOLIDAY HOME is a lovely modern 4 bedroom holiday home that accommodates up to 11 guests with the bonus of bringing your furry friends (dogs only). Just a short drive to the beach, jetty and Splash Town water park. Free Wifi included!

Open plan kitchen with large fridge/freezer with water dispenser, electric oven/stove top, microwave, dishwasher, Aldi coffee pod machine (BYO pods), toaster, kettle, Nutri Bullet, sandwich press, mixer, dining area with table/chairs, childs highchair, living area with 1 x 2 seater lounge, 1 x 3 seater lounge, large smart TV.

Ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout.

Main bedroom with ensuite - walk-in shower, vanity and w/c. Bedroom 4 with TV.

Main bathroom with walk-in shower, full size bath, vanity, separate w/c. Laundry with top loading washing machine, dryer, laundry trough.

Located on the shores of Spencer Gulf, Moonta Bay is just 168 kilometres from Adelaide. Its beaches and jetty make this township a real draw card for families, holiday makers and fishermen alike.

Pillows and quilts are provided you will need to bring your own linen - pillow cases, top/bottom sheets, towels/bath mat and tea towels.

Bed configuration - bed 1 - queen, bed 2 - queen, bed 3 - 2 x bunks, bed 4 - tri-bunk (double on bottom, single on top).

House was ideal for the 5 adults and 2 children to accommodate all though the front steps are very steep with no handrail or barrier on the front veranda making it difficult for children and older people. Great bakeries and antique shops nearby. Unfortunately too cold for the nearby water park but had a great cafe.

The location was fantastic — nice and close to the beach and shops, which made everything very convenient.The only downsides were that more clothes storage would have been handy, and the cleanliness on arrival could have been better (we noticed dusty furniture, dirty windows, and under the beds needed attention). And more cutlery/mugs needed, didn’t have enough forks to feed all people which was about annoying. Overall though, it was a great place for our family holiday.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This Holiday Rental is absolutely true to its description. It can comfortably accommodate 11 people in comfortable beds. It was very clean and well maintained with everything you need in a holiday home. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses you need plus unexpected items like a toastie machine, Pod machine & a NutriBullet. Ultra modern large family fridge freezer that had ample room for a weeks supply for extended family. Incredible ducted reverse cycle cooling heating in every room. Great Internet and games for adults & kids supplied. The rear yard is fully enclosed so was great for our grandkids and our dog. The rear deck with large table and chairs enabled us to enjoy the outdoors whilst the kids or dogs have plenty of room to run around. The big hooded BBQ worked really well even to cook a massive family roast. Location was very handy, close to both Moonta main st and the Moonta bay Jetty. Area was very quiet. A very minor negative would be the lack of a ballistrade or railing on the front entry verandah and no cover for cars boats etc.The Ladies at Accommodation on Yorkes were fantastic to deal with & they went out of their way to be helpful. All check in info was provided in a timely manner. Would highly recommend this holiday home and we will absolutely be returning.

The location was great and the house itself was okay. However, the overall cleanliness was not up to standard and it didn’t appear that a cleaner had attended prior to our stay, we had to clean on arrival. In particular, the main toilet was in a disgusting state with dried urine on the exterior and behind the seat, and faeces in the bowl. The floors were grimy and dusty. There were dust balls in the cupboards and in the corners of the floors, toilets weren’t cleaned (both toilets). Additionally, there was no TV aerial in the bedroom, which was inconvenient.One of the quilt covers had a dried brown stain.
