The house is amazing only topped by the views. Great location to both rafting and Nantahala lake. Will stay again.

Terrific Property!

This was our second stay at Bear Paw Cabin. We love this property and everything the area has to offer. Great kitchen and view from the deck. Looking forward to coming back a third time!

We were so pleased to welcome you back! You will continue to see improvements around the community. We recently added a charcoal grill and stocked firewood for the fireplace at the pond. For repeat customers like you all, you will soon have access to our game room and golf simulator. Hope to see you soon!

A Perfect Thanksgiving Retreat!

The cabin was absolutely amazing and made for a truly memorable Thanksgiving getaway with friends and family in the North Carolina National Forest. We were delighted to find it so immaculately clean and tidy. The kitchen and living area were wonderfully spacious, allowing everyone to comfortably gather and enjoy our time together. The excellent selection of board games was a hit for our evening entertainment! Outdoors, the hot tub and fire pit were heavenly and the perfect way to cap off our crisp November days. Highly recommended!

THIS WAS AN UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE! THE CABIN WAS IMMACULATE, AND THE VIEW WAS MAJESTIC! It was so much fun to have access to so many great amenities. Cant say it enough, "It was special."

This house was absolutely amazing! It was super clean and decorated beautifully! The kitchen is stocked with any dishes and appliances you may need. Out of all the mountain homes we’ve stayed in over the years, this is a favorite. We would love to get it again and have more time there. Don’t even get me started on the view!

Wow! What a cabin!

We had a fantastic July 4th weekend at Bear Paw Lodge! This cabin had everything we needed and more for a fantastic getaway! The hosts were super friendly and accommodating and made sure we had everything we could need. Very convenient to the Nantahala River and several other hiking destinations. As a bonus we were able to watch the July 4th fireworks from the top of the mountain. Great experience all around.

Luxury meets a view!

We rented both cabins for our Easter family weekend, which hosted 14 people, and it was absolutely perfect! The cabins are top-notch, with fully equipped kitchens, incredibly comfortable beds (and we’re pretty picky about that!), and plenty of luxurious touches throughout. Each cabin has its own hot tub and outdoor space, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the stunning views.We ate outside for every meal, and the scenery made it that much more special. There’s also a large sports court behind the cabins, and the kids had a blast playing basketball and pickleball for hours on end.Renting both cabins also gave us access to an additional game room house, which was a fantastic bonus! It provided even more space for the kids to hang out, an extra kitchen, and even a golf simulator. This setup was absolutely ideal for our large group—everyone had their own space, but there was also plenty of room for togetherness in the communal areas.We truly had the best family trip we’ve had in years, and we can’t wait to return. The combination of luxury, space, and fun activities made this the perfect family compound for large groups. Highly recommend it!

Couldn't have been better!

We chose the Bear Paw Lodge because of location, size, and amenities. Boy, we were pleasantly surprised at all of those and more! To begin the property is located behind a gate which ensures privacy as well as having security cameras around the lodge. If you wanted to never leave the home, you definitely don't have to with a hot tub, fire pits, games, plenty of space inside and out to hang out with friends and family and other things such as pickeball, basketball and stream to explore and fish. One of the best parts is the view!! The view cannot be overstated! Everything inside is very well done even down to the appliances and surround sound. If you can afford it, don't hesitate to stay here. There's no doubt you'll love it too. One more thing, when we got ready to leave our daughter hated to leave one of the blankets and so I reached out to the owner to ask if we could purchase it or where we could buy one and he gifted it to her! That was incredibly kind! We will stay no where else when in the area. 10 out of 10 all the way! Thanks again.
