Store leftovers in the minifridge and enjoy coffee whenever the mood strikes. Lay back and relax on one of two queen beds and watch a favorite DVD. Guests of this studio will also enjoy access to shared amenities such as the shared heated outdoor pool and three hot tubs.

Of course, the biggest draw is the slopeside location for prime ski-in/ski-out access. The building features a front desk and concierge in main lobby, with the popular El Sabor restaurant, great for takeout or grab-and-go meals, just off the main lobby as well. On the first floor you'll find the business center, pool and hot tubs! Should you need ski gear, Charter Sports is right on the second floor, catering to skiers of all levels. Also on the second floor are coin operated washers and dryers. Off the property you’ll find Vail General store and Lionshead Liquors just around the corner. All nearby Lionshead restaurants and shops are a short distance away for when you’re not spending your time on the slopes. Wonderful stay

The location and cleanliness of the room and hotel was excellent. However, it was the hotel staff that made our stay wonderful. Everyone was so kind and helpful: from front desk, housekeeping, bell services and shuttle service. Will be returning to the Lionshead Lodge again for our next Vail trip.

Location can’t be beat!

Perfect location, short walk to everything in Lionshead Village and close to Vail free bus stop. The room was clean and comfortable, with an updated bathroom. Plenty of “common” lounge areas and the pool/hot tub were great!

Great location. Easy to ski in and out. We checked in very late. No problem because front desk is staffed. Nicholas was very helpful. Ski valet was effortless at the end of a long day. Coffee, tea, was available in the lobby all day. Thanks, Ms Harris

No hot water or heat

Didn’t have hot water or heat for our 2-night stay. After the first night we were told we could switch rooms but since we didn’t have time between hockey games I asked for a credit instead. They wouldn’t offer one bc we had “too good of a rate.” Really disappointed with how they handled this issue. We won’t be coming back.

Amazing but not!

Don’t get me wrong, location is amazing, amenities are great, cleanliness was on point and staff was very kind as it should for the price you pay for. It’s not a cheap place and when you book something like this you expect the best. I thought I was gonna have a great time there, enjoying the slopes and coming back to a comfortable apartment, however on the very first day right after we got there we noticed the room was too hot, turned the temp down and it didn’t work. Contacted management and they sent someone to check and for some reason (probably a broken valve) the temperature was extremely high and it wouldn’t go down. I contacted them at 8pm and it was already 11pm and I was dealing with this thing. It was too late, there was nothing they could do so I had to open the window a little bit and hope I wouldn’t have to wake up in the middle of the night freezing (it was 10 degrees outside). Didn’t have a good night, went to the slopes tired and stressed. They called me, sent somebody, said by the time I come back it was going to be solved. Guess what? They didn’t and my wife and I had to spend two more days there trying to adjust the window which became our new thermostat. It was supposed to be a dream trip with my wife and it was a nightmare.

The unit was clean upon arrival and everyday when we got back from skiing. The beds were very comfortable as was the bathroom. The location can’t be beat, you’re steps from the Gondola.

Hot and wet

The room was very clean however it was extremely warm. We had to open windows to cool the room down. The room does not have A/C. Other families with our group had the same issue. Bathroom sink leaked at each use.

Perfect destination for true ski in ski out

Nothing is worse than a long walk in ski boots and this accommodation completely minimized that walk. Everything g from the moment we pulled into Lion Square Lodge South was great! Parking was easy. The staff was amazing! My kids and I were happy to see the hot chocolate and hot tea station set up in the lobby at all hours of the day and night. The room was as pictured. The bathroom was new and gorgeous. Everything was clean and the room even had a few extras I appreciated like a humidifier for the dry nights. Beds were comfortable and linens were clean.
