Ce bach est le refuge de vacances idĂ©al pour se dĂ©tendre sur la plage en face de Oakura Beach. Descendez les 10 marches et vous ĂȘtes sur le sable. RĂ©veillez-vous le matin et entendez les vagues et le surf. Profitez de votre petit-dĂ©jeuner et de votre dĂźner sur la terrasse en regardant l'ocĂ©an. Grande plage et surveillant de plage surveillĂ© sur la vocation estivale. A cinq minutes Ă  pied des magasins, des cafĂ©s et des restaurants.

Great location. Loved the view of the beach and the sea. An older property with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Unfortunately the Taranaki weather was miserable so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor space and the beach as much as we would have liked to.Great, responsive, helpful communication from Noeleen.We needed to use the fold out sofa as a bed. This doesn’t appear to have been used for some time and it needed a good clean and spray for spiders.

Beach bach

Beautiful location. Bach living with mod cons. Beds very comfortable. Path to house abit steep and uneven and some shrubbery need cutting back from path. Great having a path to the beach, that also needed cutting back. The neighbour let us use theirs. Very friendly. Abit awkward getting into the toilet having to stand against the wall to close the door but nice and clean and great flush 😁. Great outdoor entertainment area. Nice to just sit back and relax. Bonus having aircon. Enjoyed my stay. Xx🙂

Relaxing Getaway

Great beach access, close to local shops, stunning view and front deck to look over the beach. The solar lights that were working on the pathway down to the house were helpful. The one by the stairs isn't working. Special thank you for turning the heat on. It was amazing to arrive to a cozy and warm house after being stuck on the side of the road for 4 hours due to a road closure on SH3. We really loved our stay. Thank you.

Short stay

We appreciated the warm comfortable stay. The views of the ocean were amazing. I think we just needed the information about getting into the place as soon as the payment was accepted. But we manage to find the key when we searched around the outside. Also the bathroom is lovely but shower would not get warm and stay war. It was cold then tepid then cold again. I couldn't contact the owners directly. However I'm sure it would be a lovely place when these are dealt with. I would go there again.

Beautiful simple Bach in an amazing location. So close to the ocean and fabulous views from the outside area. A must to revisit again and again.

Loved our stay!

Absolutely amazing stay. True bach feel right on the beach front. The home had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The beds and bedding was super comfy we all slept very well - even the kids. Kitchen is well stocked (loved having a dishwasher and a great fridge with the water dispenser). It was nice having such a spacious shower! Was beautiful having cooked dinner on the Webber bbq whilst on the outside deck over looking the beach. Having lino flooring throughout was great especially with kids and sand - super easy to clean up. Outside shower also handy. If your looking for somewhere comfortable and relaxing we highly recommend. We are already planning to book again.

Stunning location

The location of this holiday house can't be beaten and has everything you need for a great holiday. Also close to New Plymouth for groceries and activities. We were unlucky with the weather but will be back again in future for some sun.

Noeleen’s home is wonderful! The perfect casual and comfortable beach house. And it’s in a gorgeous location! Being able to come and stay here meant so much to me, it turned challenging situation into a really positive experience for me. And Noeleen was so generous, thoughtful and kind. I will always be grateful!

Amazing little place with all the comforts and the best sunsets I've ever seen

Had the most lovely time away with my mother and 2 daughter at this cozy Bach ..in the most stunning location. Some wonderful memories made there with some breathtaking views of the sunset and ocean . 💙

True bach experience

Had everything you’d want in a bach. Terrific view of the beach. Fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Noeleen was always on hand to answer questions. Couldn’t ask for much else. Had to sneak in a morning swim before leaving. Thanks a heap for having us.

Perfect seaside stay

The location of the bach is superb and it has everything you could need, very well equipped. Comfortable beds - we fell asleep to the sound of the waves - the bach is right on the beach with lovely views. Communication with the owner was excellent even during the evening . Very relaxing time - we will come back as soon as we are able!

A perfect spot!

A quintessential New Zealand bach right on the beach with uninterrupted views. This was the perfect spot to catch up with a friend, walk along the beach, enjoy the local eateries, meet the locals and explore Taranaki. Communication with the host was easy and they couldn’t have been any more helpful and the property was exactly as described. I will certainly be back for another visit

Average accommodation

Not suitable for older people.No car access and a very narrow and relatively steep path down to the house.Bathroom and toilet area leaves a lot to be desired.Experienced some solid rain and the spoutings were overflowing with bird nesting material present.Tiny bedrooms with no safety catches on the windows so you couldnt leave windows open unless present during daylight.
