The basement was rented out to not one but two different sets of couples without my knowledge or consent. We were two woman alone and had no idea if whoever was sleeping in our townhome we paid a premium price for without our knowledge might be dangerous or bunch of drunk menOnly way we knew stranger we're there is that they knocked on our foyer door for a can opener. It was scary. We had no idea who and why they were in our vacation rental townhouse. It was not safe for us to have strangers in the basement on the place I paid such a high price to rent and expected total privacy.The property is treated like a boarding house The front door is the only other way to get out of the 3 story townhouse besides the garage door. If a fire broke out in the garage your trapped as the front door deadbolts with no handles no doorknob and no key for the deadbolt on the front door to be unlocked and escape. I'm disabled and elderly and not physically able to be jumping out of a 2 or 3 story balcony Lack of exits makes the townhouse a firetrap in my observation I've been with VRBO for years and this is the first time I wasn't safe and I'm an female and I don't want anyone to go thru what we went thru because of greedy hosts not caring about the guests . Nothing was accurately advertised in the property description. Not that it wasn't single level but 3 story townhouse nothing about you sharing with strangers renting apt in basement. If I knew I wouldn't it
