Weekend get away with family and friends

We had a wonderful time! The house was just as described! I will highly recommend. We had 12 people staying and we never felt crowded.

Terrible

We did not stay there. It was disgraceful. No service no WiFi or land line. Rat dropping all over the house. The air conditioning did not work. We have tried to get our money back but Evolve is a joke and will not reply to our messages. Terrible company.

Work to be done

Cabin needs major deep cleaning, landscaping, and upgrades. Wifi did not work so unable to use television or phones/devices. Appliances were outdated and there was limited utensils, pots, pans, etc. that were clean enough to use. Excessive tools and outdated supplies took up most drawer and shelf space. This cabin has great potential but needs a lot of work.

Perfect for our weekend get-together!

This cabin was perfect for our trip to the mountains where we were able to connect with friends we haven’t seen for a while. It was big enough to house everyone Beth comfortably (we were going to have 14 but ended up having 12 people). The amenities were great, and the hot tub was huge! Our dogs were also welcomed with no fee which was so lovely.My only gripe is that I had no service at the cabin but that is typical for some of these north ha mountain cabins. Overall would 100% stay again and would recommend!

this property had some issues that need to be addressed:- rodents- a broken dishwasher with dirty dishes- many of the pots/dishes in the cabinets were dirty- cabin needs general cleaning and decluttering- the jacuzzi was "fixed" while we were there but it was unappealing and the electrical box was below the waterline on the wall- it felt unsafe- there were electrical wires exposed without proper covers- the outside porch was unpleasant with the smell of the chicken farm nearby- the wifi was not working when we arrived, it was fixed, but there is zero cell phone service if there isn't wifi- the blankets in the top of the closet are stained, it would be nice if there were extra sheets- the keurig is missing (it's listed as an amenity)positives- the cabin is spacious- the beds slept well

Secluded

I’m not sure if I communicated with the property owner or the property management company but that communication was good. The pictures of the inside of the home display what the home look like inside. The pictures of what the outside looks like is not the same at all. The driveway needs to be paved because it was treacherous trying to get to the actual home itself. Understanding the property is under some renovation. It should not be listed as a place to stay until those things are completed. There were rodents and cockroaches. The home really needs a deep cleaning. There was no Wi-Fi working properly so access to the Internet or the TVs was pretty much impossible for the three days. My family and I made the best of it because we were there to have fun and enjoy each other. I would not recommend staying until whatever renovations that have to be done are done and the house is cleaned properly.

Great family vacation!

We had 13 people from 4 families, ages 2-68. Everyone had a great time with games in the basement, plenty of bedrooms to spread out and lots of space outside to explore the outdoors. We cooked breakfasts and some dinners and were centrally located to explore Ellijay, Blue Ridge and McCaysville.

Room for Everyone

Our stay was good. Big house, room for all 14 of us. Spent a lot of time playing board games and playing pool, ice hockey too. Not being used to summer in Georgia, I was glad to have good AC. Beds comfortable. We used the hot tub and the firepit too

Large cabin in the woods.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It is large and accommodating. Master on main with another queen bedroom on main. Four bedrooms on upper floor with shower. Two showers on main. The common area on the main floor is large with plenty of seating for visiting and eating with three dining tables. The cabin is stocked with plenty of kitchen equipment. The basement is large with washer/dryer, pool table, air hockey and basketball player. Lots of seating also. There is a fire pit outside as well as a drive around driveway. We enjoyed our stay. Would stay again.

Family Thanksgiving getaway

Wonderful house for our 16 family members over a long Thanksgiving break. Everyone had comfortable sleeping arrangements. Beds were great. The Great Room was our favorite part as everyone was able to hang out together but still do their own thing. Fun loft for our teenage gamers while still feeling connected to the fam. Had fun shopping in Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Owners left a sweet note and welcome gift - a perfect start to our family Thanksgiving.

Wonderful Space for large gatherings!

So much more than what I expected! The Host was very nice and responsive. Went out of her way to make sure we had an awesome experience. Definitely a above and beyond kinda host! We have a big family and she approved the extra guest. 22 in all and our fur baby and we never felt crowded. This is a beautiful country cabin! We will.be back for the apple fest!

Even better the second time around!

We came back for another family gathering. It's amazing to see the change in scenery different times of year! It's like being secluded in a tropical rain forest! This is very much a comfort cabin! So much space for everyone and once again our host went out of her way and exceeded all expectations! Can't wait to come back when the second master is complete. Great cabin for a large group!

The cabin was in a beautiful location and had plenty of space for our group of 13. Could easily hold more if those in the group are comfortable sharing a bed. So many fun things to do in the cabin, such as pool, air hockey, hot tub, chess board, and large dvd collection. WiFi was a little slow, but that was expected given the location. There is a chicken farm nearby, and produces a slight smell while outdoors. No fault to the owner, just something to know about the location. The only negative was a leaky kitchen sink that was a little frustrating. Overall, a wonderful stay that I would highly recommend!

This property was exactly like the pictures. A little hard to find at first. But I contacted the host and she walked me exactly how to get to the front door. Big open space enough room for all 18 family members to have their own space but still be close together. We asked that the cabin be decorated before we arrived and it was beautiful. Stockings were given to our kids. We played an endlessly amount of games, amazing nightly fires, visited downtown, and overall enjoyed this vacation.

Not what I was expecting

The owner was very nice but nothing prepared us for being next to a chicken farm. The smell was really strong the first couple of days. The farm also brings in the flies to the house. The house had a very large porch but couldn’t really enjoy because of the smell of the chicken farm. The house is on a well and periodically the water would just shut off completely until the pump could pump up more. I think if should be disclosed that the house is next to a chicken farm so you are prepared for smell and not being able to enjoy the outside when the wind blows in the direction of the house.

Feels like home from the minute you enter!

The pictures don’t even begin to show you how enjoyable this cabin is! Secluded, yet close to town. Easy to get to, driveway is Great, not steep, 4 wheel drive is not required at all. All beds and furniture are so comfortable. Everyone in my group was totally amazed at how well they slept. The water is hot and relaxing after a day of exploring. Plenty of tables for a large group to eat all together. Three porches to enjoy. The large porch was my favorite place to sit, read and just enjoy the scenery. The game room downstairs has something for everyone of all ages to enjoy. Pool table, Ping Pong, Basketball, Air Hockey. Saw plenty of wildlife, luckily no bears lol. If you are looking to disconnect from the world for a few days. This is definitely the place to be. Great hosts, always available for any questions. Looking forward to enjoying this cabin many more times with family and friends. Thank you Alicia for making sure your guests always feel right at home and sharing your mountain get away with others.
