Family Reunion Lodge Sleeps 22 with Pickleball, Ziplines, Firepit+ 90 min to SLC

We are thrilled to share our family cabin with YOU!

With 5300+ square feet of space sitting on 16.5 acres, you're just 10 miles from beautiful Strawberry Reservoir or, if you prefer, hang out at The Lodge, push your kids on the swings, race Grandma on the Double Zip Line (waiver required), challenge your cousins to a pickle ball tournament, explore the property or roast marshmallows on the fire pit (provided by the host, of course!).

Bring your boat, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and take your pick between TWO amazing Reservoirs, Strawberry or Starvation, both just minutes away!

OR...bring your ATV and Side by sides and pack a picnic to go exploring! Leave your phone behind, and take off right from the driveway to breathe in some fresh mountain air and create good old-fashioned memories! (no riding ATVs on the property, but you can depart right from the driveway to endless trails on the mountain).

With 7 bedrooms plus loft, we sleep 22 in beds and even more in hammocks & floor mats (4)! Bring all the cousins and have a BLAST together! (Maximum guests is 26)

We had an excellent time staying at this cabin. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The cabin had plenty of space for everyone, and the layout made it easy to relax and spend quality time together.The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, and we really appreciated how well stocked and thoughtfully set up everything was. It truly felt like a home away from home.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing escape.

Amazing House!

We loved loved loved this house! It was the perfect size for our family with plenty of bedrooms and baths. There was so much to do to entertain all the grandkids. They lived on the Zipline all weekend and we loved all the trails to ride bikes and side by sides. It was just an Amazing place and we will be coming back again next year for sure.

AMAZING Vacation Home!

We LOVED staying at the Family Lodge in Fruitland for our reunion! The house is super spacious with so many fun activities. We spent a lot of time on the zip line and playing pickle ball, as well as staying up late watching movies on their HUGE televisions! Everything was clean and organized with detailed instructions. We did have a hiccup at check in with a locked gate and wrong front door code. Normally this wouldn't be too much of an issue, but reception in Fruitland is very limited so it made contacting the host challenging. Once we got in touch, she was VERY helpful and easy to contact thanks to high quality wifi. We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again! It was also nice feeling a little bit "off the grid" which made our reunion even more enjoyable!

Fabulous Place for a Reunion!

We loved our week at the Old Town Lodge. Owners were so friendly and quick to reply to every inquiry. Room enough for everyone to sleep in beds although some preferred hammocks which were supplied for our use. The zipline added a lot fun to the week and the kids could not get enough. There was plenty of downed wood to gather for fires at night in the well designed and convenient firepit. (host supplied roasters and items needed for S'mores). Pebble ice machine was a bonus. Well equipped kitchen (extra fridge in the garage) with all sizes of pans and serving pieces. Gas station is only a few miles away with all basic groceries you would need. Fishing was awesome. Air conditioning worked great during those hot days we were there. Super clean and the large living room was great for the annual family talent show. Seating for everyone for meals and in living room. Honestly one of the best places we have ever stayed. We plan to return in 2025 since we are already booked for 2024 elsewhere.

A Fantastic Place!

We had an amazing time--our favorite among four major rentals over the past decade! We highly recommend it. No one was bored ever! The only thing we did off-property was a Strawberry River hike--we just loved playing on the property.

Everything you could ask for and more!

We arrived at the property wondering if it would meet our expectations given the beautiful photos and description on the website. Indeed it exceeded our expectations. The house and property were very clean and well appointed. The owners thought of everything and were very quick to respond to any questions. The sport court, zip lines and fire pit were a big hit with everyone. Pickle ball was a favorite. We would definitely stay here again.

Early Thanksgiving Family Reunion

This was an ideal place to gather with our children and 10 grandchildren ages 2-8. Even with the cold weather, they loved being outside--hiking around and playing on the playground or shooting baskets. Inside was plenty of room for family games, movie nights, and sleeping. And we loved the flexibility of the "diner" area with three tables suited for crafts, eating, and games.

This place is amazing!

I don’t think the pictures do this lodge justice. It is clean and well laid out with space for everyone. We had18 family members of all ages and each person(s)had a private place. The littles loved the beds in the loft with their own light. The landscaping is beyond awesome with such fun things to do like the zip line and pickle ball court. Thank you Vanessa for making this so special for our family. We made memories we will never forget.

Peace and solitude

I hosted a Silent retreat here. This cabin is absolutely gorgeous. Vanessa the host was quick to response. The space and location was perfect for a healing weekend for people to reconnect to themselves. I hope to make this an annual tradition!

Perfect home for large family gatherings!

This home is well designed and equipped for a wonderful get-away for large groups. We loved the spacious great room with sofa and chairs for everyone to sit comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked and very organized. The large dining room table, diner, and outside table provided plenty of room for enjoying meals together. The double zip-line, playground, fire pit, and lighted basketball court provided plenty of fun for everyone. It was the perfect place for our family gathering.

Amazing Property.

We had such a wonderful time. The property was spacious and had a lot to do. We loved the zipline the most, but had fun with ping pong, pickle ball, and the fire pit. We did have a few issues (a leak in one bedroom, but the owner was immediately on it. Vanessa was very responsive all of the time. One the best owners I have worked with. We would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful fun

What an amazing place to stay. Conveniently close and far enough that you feel like you are away. Enough room to spread out and cozy enough to be close. Well stocked and easy to communicate with the wonderful hosts. If 10 stars were an option than I would give this place 10.

Great house!

This house is incredible. The list is long on why it's great: lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, spacious, clean, nice decoration, zipline, basketball court, pickle ball, firepit, playground, etc... Everyone in our group loved it.

Family Christmas Trip

Every year we take the family on a short trip. This lodge was voted by all as the best place we have stayed. The accommodations were wonderful and fit us well. Each age group had a place to play, visit, sleep without being in anyone’s way. Many shows were watched, games played, crafts finished and just visiting and laughing together! Vanessa was so helpful and always available to answer any questions. The zipline was a highlight for the kids. We loved everything about The Lodge! We hope to come again.

Perfect Getaway!

My family and I stayed in this beautiful cabin. We were a party of 13 and it felt very spacious and comfortable. There was something to do for all ages, and space for everyone to feel included. The cabin is well maintained, extremely clean, helpful directions for absolutely everything, all while having a cute welcome package when you arrive. The views are breathtaking, (we even saw live animals one morning, while looking out the kitchen window!) and the fire pit was so much fun. Our 10 year olds loved the basketball, while, our 7 year olds loved the down stairs living room, and ping pong table! My family and I CAN NOT wait to stay here again, I thank Vanessa for being so accommodating and opening her home to us. She is an amazing host!!

Pure hidden gem in Utah State

This vacation rental is a paradise with utmost uniqueness and creativity. We rented this rental property for 3 days and we had 5 families joining us for the trip. We live in South jordan, Utah and were looking for a place which was close to 1 hour drive from our house. This property met all our needs and had some amazing offerings that you can never find elsewhere. Some of the amenities that were admired by all our friends was the Zip line (kids had a blast), the fire place setup, the interior setup ( the upside hung boat was one of a kind setup). The entire group thoroughly enjoyed the place and cant wait to book this place again. This place will be our goto vacation rental in future ! And the final best part was the unnatural communication skills of the Host -Vanessa. She was always there to solve any issues that we had and was quick with help in anything we asked.

An October Weekend

The lodge was cozy, clean, updated, and well stocked in amenities, kitchen supplies, and bed and bathroom needs for large groups. My guests and I were in awe of the land and home. We’d love to return next year. Literally the only reason I marked a four instead of a five on cleanliness is the window seals had a few little fly corpses laid to rest, otherwise the space was incredibly clean. Vanessa was a wonderful hostess and replied quickly to any questions I had. She’s friendly and caring in her communication. I can’t wait to return. Sincerely, Audra

A perfect space for healing as a group of women!

This space, as well as the host, was nothing short of perfection. From the cleanliness and feeling of safety, to the amenities that made our stay so comfortable, to the communication skills of the host, to the nourishing land the property resides on—this space is at the top of our list for future retreats. The Perfect Reunion

This house was incredible and there was something for everyone to do! It was so nice and so clean! Vanessa was great at communicating anytime we had a question. Between pickleball, basketball, beautiful walks, large gathering spaces, a seat for everyone at the tables, great sleeping arrangements, a day of boating at Deer Creek Reservoir, roasting s’mores and bowling in Duchesne it was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and reconnect with loved ones. We are a family of 7 and have such fond memories of "heading to the cabin" with extended family and friends. We wanted to provide that same magic for our own family and share it with you, our guests!

There's no feeling like loading up the van and the coolers and "heading for the hills" to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Everyone needs a getaway, and we are excited to provide you with just that!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We fell in love with this property for so many reasons!
First, the location in the darling town of Fruitland feels like you're stepping back to a time when life was much slower, land and nature was abundant and there was nothing more on the calendar than just being together.
Secondly, we loved the spacious nature of this cabin. There is room for everyone to sleep and the loft is a perfect place to make memories with cousins or close friends.
Third, the kitchen is so big with endless cupboard space to keep everything organized (I love to organize!)

I could go on and on, but this cabin just felt right for us and we are excited for the opportunity to share it with YOU!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

On 16.5 acres, there is plenty space to spread out, let the kids go explore safely, catch lizards, chase rabbits or drive over to Strawberry Reservoir, just 10 minutes away. The Reservoir area has been so nicely preserved that you can simply enjoy the beauty of the water and surrounding mountains, without the distraction of cabins, stores, or crowds.
